Good morning. According to my phone app, today should have temps in the upper sixties with rain off and on all day. That might happen because it is gray outside and cool. We can use the rain, so that makes it a good day.
Early yesterday afternoon, one of the dwarfs and I took a ride downtown and voted. I felt bad leaving Pogo behind at home but I couldn't take him with us. The poor little guy so misses his rides in the car and going shopping. I'll be glad when things get back to normal so he can get out with me a lot more.
This morning Pogo woke up very early with the hungries. He's patient too. He will bark at me until the cows come home if it takes that long for me to answer him. So, just to quiet him, Mama gets up and makes breakfast. Every once in a while, he will wait until I give him his breakfast, then he'll turn his nose up and walk into his little house and go to sleep. Just to show me who's boss! This morning, he ate his food.
While going through some old photos, I pulled out a couple of them to share. These photos (I believe) were taken back in the late eighties and early nineties when my Uncle Fred was still here with us. I wish I had the originals, but all I have are these images that were taken (of the originals) with an older digital camera.
The first photo shows my uncle, Audrey and my brother Artie at one of my hubby's softball games. (Hubby was pitching) The second photo is my Uncle Fred and me at a birthday party.
Memories are so sweet. I remember way way back when my Uncle Fred would take me for rides on his bicycle. I remember him coming home in his Army uniform. (1940's) He was so handsome. Uncle Fred was my mother's younger brother.
Today I think I'll tackle a big bag of junk mail. I am so bad. I don't like to deal with all the junk mail because before I can throw it out I have to remove my personal information. (it's a thing with me.} So I throw it all in a big bag. If I can't see it, it doesn't bother me. However, today it does bother me so I'll deal with it.
On that ambitious note, I'll take my leave and enjoy some blog reading before getting started on today's project. So, till tomorrow, Y'all stay safe and have a fantabulous day.
Hugs, Edna B.

Oh those sweet memories looking at old photos!
always brings back something nice into the mind.
I try to remove here and there the address on the junkmail, but often it just disappears in the bin. I am lazy in those things LOL.
Good you could go to vote(and poor Pogo). But the "old"situation before the Civid will not come backvery soon is my guess. As long as we can stay safe from it, we will have to deal with it.
I was in towncentre this afternoon and bought me....... hahahaha, 3 big buns of yarn. I think I will start knitting with it this evening. The other things are ready, only have to put the parts together, but that's better done during daytime.
You see, I just couldn;t resist it.
Have a nice day, give Pogo an extra cuddle.
Hugs
Kyra
I love the old photos! I wonder who has the originals these days?
Olga sometimes drives us out of bed in the morning (5:30 a.m.) and then refuses to get up herself!
Loved seeing the pictures. Memories are so important in this time. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
One of my resolutions of the last six months has been to deal better with junk mail. I've done a good job -- for the most part -- but I've still got two big bags to go through. I worked on it earlier today and my goal is to keep at it tomorrow. It really lifts my spirit when I make headway. Take care!
Oh such sweet memories. Some we make, Some we share with others and sometimes a sweet memory will show up in pictures and photo albums or a taste of something someone loved and sometimes just the hint of something that is random. It is always good when it is a sweet memory such as yours. I love those pictures. Audrey is grinning from ear to ear. Do you know who took that photo? I should say those photos. Was it you? I love them regardless!
