Just A Short Post

September 28, 2020

Good afternoon.  Tis another beautiful day here in New England.  Lots of sunshine, some clouds and a teeny tiny sprinkle every now and then.  I couldn't ask for anything better.

Deanne came by and took me to the doctor's office to have my blood drawn.  It's all so different now.  There's hardly a soul in the building, just a few key personnel.  I was in and out in a wink.  That has to be the best lab visit I ever had.

On the way home, I took a few photos of the gorgeous colors that a lot of our trees are wearing.

Even the trees along the highway were putting on a beautiful color show.

I know this is a very short post, but I have some things to do and it's almost three o'clock.  So, till tomorrow, Y'all stay safe and have a fantabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.

Hi Edna, So glad you got in and out with your labs. Ted and I went to CVS for our flu shots this morning and we were the only ones in the place. I loved it. So that's one important thing done. Tomorrow he has P.T. at the hospital and in the afternoon, I see the podiatrist. Be happy to get some inserts. Two more things will be done. Do you ever fell as if all we do is go to drs, dentist and hospitals.?? It wears me out. I loved seeing your tree colors. Blessings to you, xoxo, Susie

Well, at least you didn;t have a long wait for the blood drawn!
It is a beautiful sight all those autumn colours.
Here today it is also a lovely day, very mild weather, lots of sun. nearly no wind, and only a few drops of rain!
I 've earned myself a break at the computer, I did the groceries and preapred the dinner(only have to boil the potatoes and burssels sprouts. rest just to warm up.

The days sometimes go so fast, suddenly it is 3.00 or 3.30 p.m., and sometimes the evenings pass by too quick too LOL.

Have a lovely day,
Hugs
Kyra

Short and beautiful. I sure loved seeing the colorful trees. Glad your labs went quickly. It is sure weird at doctor offices. Nick has to empty his desk out on Oct 12. All work from home now. Jeremy will occasionally have to go in but primarily work from home. I wish my hubby had to work from home. I hate that he has to drive everyday due to the bus and light rail lines. He would be dropped off at Union Station and have to catch the free shuttle to his office. Unfortunately the free shuttle is loaded with homeless and they have found several cases of illness among them and I am sure these protesters and violent Marxists. The governor and the city of Denver mayor are worthless hiding in their gated communities behind closed doors. It is very frustrating to have to go to work and no one seems to appreciate you. I always make sure to thank store clerks etc. I guess I was raised right.
Hoping your week is a great one. HUGS across the miles XO XO

The colors are beautiful to see now in New England, I agree Edna, and I also took some from the car photos on a drive last weekend. Hope the tests went well.

I honestly think that New England is so very beautiful in the Fall and the trees do wear their colors just beautifully. I think that you were very fortunate to be able to take some photos on top of a fast lab visit. I hope that your lab work comes back with great results.
My phone has been ringing off the hook today and I am trying to get all of my October appointments taken care of and scheduled plus a trip to the grocery store. Karyn and I are going to be going Friday morning to find our voting Poll location as we both got a notice that our Poll locations have been changed. I think that they should leave them alone so we can easily find them again but what do I know... Hugs to you and Pogo. I will try and call you later on but I am still waiting on a very important call... xoxoxxoxo
