Lots Of Peeps

December 5, 2021

Good morning.  Tis sunny and cold.  I just realized that I never put up the December page to my calendar.  I'll try to remember to do it tomorrow.  Winter officially starts in less than three weeks, but the cold temps tell me that it is already here.

Yesterday was a busy day spent getting rid of some junk mail.  Today I need to spend my time wrapping and packing up my last mailer box.  Plus, I want to go through all my charities and make sure I've made out my gifts to each of them.

Speaking of gifts, I never heard from the person whose name was picked to receive the mystery gift.  So, we pulled another name.  Suemn.  If you send me your address, I'll send you the package.  Otherwise, I'm going to donate it.

Today there is another Law & Order marathon on TV, so that's what I'll be watching between wrapping, packing and writing.  Joe will be putting up the Christmas tree in the house, so I'll be going out there later to see the tree.  It's beginning to look like Christmas around here.

Have you noticed all the new Peeps this year?  Deanne brought me some Gingerbread Men, Boots and Snowmen.  Of course, I already ate them all!  The top package looks funny because I had already eaten the Peeps before the photos were taken.

The latest update on Baby Cerys is that she is on her way to the Children's Hospital in Philadelphia.  Her mom and Dad are too.  I'll know more when everyone gets there and gets settled.

I'm behind on my blog reading so I want to catch up on that today too.  So, let me get started on this new day.  Till tomorrow, Y'all stay safe and have a fantabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.

Those peeps look great! What are Peeps anyway? Is it a sort of marshmellow????
Oh, Joe has work to do today, see=tting up the tree, but it will look nice when ready.
With the colder weather getting on, you just will have to try to stay warm and wrap yourself in to nice warm and cosy and tender fleece clothes! we do too!
How strange the person for the mystery gift didn;t react. Hopefully the new one will. It is such a nice gesture of you.
Take care, hugs

When I was a kid I ate so many peeps one Easter that they made me sick. I have never cared for them since. I was offered a package of Fruit Punch recently and I took them to be polite but I gave them to the kids. They had no problem scarfing them down lol. I can't imagine all the new flavors. The Gingerbread Men look interesting. I was
going to ask what were your favorite but I know that you would just say "All Of Them" lol.

Prayers foor that sweet baby. I pray that mom and dad have a safe trip and that they will be able to get her insulin regulated.

Big Hugs xoxoxoxo

I had no idea Peeps came in so many varieties! Talk about "extending the brand."

Fingers crossed for Cerys and the family!

Hi Edna, I'm excited that you drew my name. I will send my address to your email account. I sure hope the doctors can help Cerys.

Just catching up on my blog visits. First, prayers for Cerys and Jack.
I've got three doctor appointments and a dentist appointment to finish up 2021. I'm doing my first video appointment later today.
I have noticed all the Peeps, but have stayed away from any sampling. I had a treat with holiday Junior Mints yesterday and they were good.
Have a good day!
