Hello November

November 1, 2021

Good morning.  Tis a new month already.  I'll dig out my calendar page and post it tomorrow.  So, did everyone have a great Halloween?  I did.  Some of my friends from our flight group stopped by for a hot cup of coffee and a bit of chit chat.  It was nice to see them again.

I spent part of the evening finishing my crochet projects.  I now have a bunch of pockets to sew on the wraps and everything will be done.  I did start one little new project.  A scrunchie.  I'll take a photo when it is done.

This morning I need to package up my daughter Laura Jean's birthday gift, and Deanne will take it to the Post Office this afternoon.  It's hard to believe that my baby is going to be fifty six years old.

Today I think I'll work on the scrunchie.  If I can, I'd like to make a few of them.  However, that's a "we'll see."  The best laid plans somehow seem to get befuddled.

Befuddle:   utterly confused or puzzled:  deeply perplexed, mixed up.

I love these old words that don't get used much anymore.  "Lollygag" is another quaint word.  I saw it a while ago in an article that I was reading.  What does it mean?

Lollygag:  to fool around and waste time:  dawdle.

I have an item that I want to share.  I've run across this myself so I thought you might be interested.

Now I'm going to get a fresh cup of hot coffee and enjoy some blog reading.   So, till tomorrow, Y'all stay safe and have a fantabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.

Catching up on my blog friends this morning, while I enjoy a great cup of pumpkin spice coffee. Medical test this afternoon and I need to fast for a few hours, so I'm not lingering over my coffee as I usually do. Had a fun Halloween with a visit to the Harry Potter store. Take care and happy November.

In Dutch we have, of course also some öld-fashioned"words,old words, but sometimes I like them best.
It was nice to have a chit chat with chocolate, wasn;t it hahahaha
Scam mails are soooo dangerous, you will have to look and read well, may v=be even 3 times, before you take any action. Best is, if you have a doubt, call the company, or just skip the mail. If it was real, you will have another one or a phonecall or a letter.
We almost don;t realize how the years go by, for our age but also for our loved ones.
Have a wonderful day,
Hugs
Kyra

Those are good words! My mother always used to accuse us kids of dawdling and I'm pretty sure she used lollygag a few times, too!
