Some Info About The 911 Medic Alert

November 9, 2018

Good morning.  The sun is shining, but it's a wee bit cool, just 33F degrees.  Temps are supposed to get up to fifty later this morning though, so it's going to be a nice day.  I have a couple errands to do, but I want to wait for my food order from Amazon first.

I'm feeling a bit less stressed today after yesterday's outcome.  Let's just hope things go along the way they are supposed to.  I'd like to comment on the medic alert thing a bit.  There was a reason why I bought the one I did.  There is no monitor or anything else for it to connect to.  You just keep it on you or with you all the time and you'll always be able to call for help.

There is no monthly fee for my 911 medic alert.  You just purchase it once and that's it.  I bought it from Home Shopping Network.  I just went to HSN to get a photo of the product and its description for anyone interested.  It's on sale and it comes in a bundle.  (that wasn't available when I got mine)

Sorry the photo isn't better, but photos on your laptop screen don't come out so good.  Hopefully, though, this will be a help to anyone interested.  Just look up HSN.com for more information.

Cliff is supposed to be coming by today to clean out all my little gardens.  Hopefully he can make it because they really are in need of some TLC.  If he shows up, I may even ask him to gather up all the leaves that are decorating my whole yard.  We'll see.

Yesterday I did call Amazon about the package that came to me rather than to the address it was supposed to go to.  They were really nice and sent me a label to return my package free.  Meanwhile, they expedited shipping on a new order to get to the correct address today.  These folks really do try to please the customer.  Thank you Amazon.

So far, I'm being lucky with my shingles.  They haven't spread anywhere else and they don't show up very dark any more.  The Benedryl Gel is working very well in keeping the itch in check.  Unless I think about the shingles, they haven't been bothering me.  I'm probably speaking too soon, I hope not.

Folks, I found this awesome image on the web and I just have to share it with you.  Even if you can't adopt a pet right now, consider going to your local shelters and just visiting with the animals.  Especially all the older dogs and cats.  A lot of them won't be adopted, but they still deserve some love and cuddling.   A hug and a cuddle goes a long way in making life nicer for these beautiful animals.  (I don't know who the author is)  Just click on the image to make it bigger.

Now it's time for me to get busy here and get a load of laundry started.  But first, I want to do a bit of blog reading.  Then my chores!  So, till Sunday, Y'all have a fantabulous weekend.

Hugs, Edna B.

That alert looks very good, I hope it works when it is needed. LOVE that poem about older dogs. My Daughter lost her pet a couple of years ago. It was heart-breaking:( They got another one and they love him, still missing BB but Frankie fits right in. Have a blessed day dear friend, HUGS!
