Hello November!

November 1, 2018

Good morning, and Hello November.  Gosh, October went by wicked fast.  Let's hope that November lasts a wee bit longer.  Here is the November page from my calendar.

Well, did everyone have a great Halloween?  I hope so.  Pogo and I certainly did.  We had an early supper yesterday, and then flew off to meet up with some of our friends.  And what fun we had!  One of the guys in the group actually had one of the new twin engine brooms.  Whoa!  Does that thing really go!!

Don't worry, I'm not going to upgrade my broom.  I'm too old for all that new technology.  With my luck, I'd fall off my broom the first time I switched gears.  Pogo and I are very happy with my old broom, thank you.

But oh my, what a gorgeous night it was.  You might not believe it but the whole planet looks really beautiful when you're flying just below the clouds.  Kyra, when we passed over your town, I did a bit of a "loop de loop" so you'd know which one was Pogo and me.

Yesterday afternoon, Pogo and I went to Ocean State Job Lot.  Pogo was wearing his Halloween costume, and oh my did he ever have lots of fun.  He looked absolutely adorable, and everyone in the store came by to see him and give him lots of pats and scritches.  He was in heaven!

Here are some photos of Pogo from yesterday.  I couldn't make up my mind which one to post, so I'm posting all of them.

Sassy was also wearing a pumpkin costume.  Deanne sent this photo of Sassy to share.  Now tell me, aren't these kids just adorable?

Great grandchildren Aurora and Xander were out trick or treating too.  Aurora was the Bubble Gum Fairy and Xander was Baby Batman.  They looked so adorable as they went around gathering treats in their pumpkins.

Audrey called yesterday to say that her hubby, Mac, was already on a plane headed for Japan.  His job is sending him there for the next five or six months to work on a project.  This is a government job so I won't go into details.  Their son John will be stationed there later this month (with the Navy), so hopefully they'll be able to get together a few times.  Safe travels Mac.

Now I'm going to relax and crochet a while.  I'm just a bit tired (Gee, I wonder why!) so it will be a lazy day for Pogo and me.  First I think I'll do some blog reading.  So, till tomorrow, Y'all have a fantabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.

I don't know who is cuter -- Pogo or your little great-grands. Looks as if those kids were having a wonderful Halloween!
Five months is a long time to be away from your family. Hope all goes well there.
P.S. You are so funny about flying around the world on your broom.

after all the typing, google deleted my comment this morning. they are so cute. The fur babies and the human babies. After my son grew up, I stopped celebrating Halloween. The world have gotten so cruel and hurting little kids by putting needles, razor blades or whatever they can in the candy, I just decided to get out of the giving part all together. No one can say they got anything bad candy from me because I keep my distance. Have a great evening.

Oh, it was lovely weather for a flight and we did notice something flying high in the sky, making strange movements! I already thought it had to be you and Pogo on the broom.
We did wave, hopefully you noticed that LOL!

Gosh, Audrey will feel lonely with Mac being away for such a long time.
I guess he will not be there for Christmas either, or do they get some leave?

That visit for you driver licence was a quick one, you really were lucky there!

Wishing you an awsome weekend, I will be back tomorrow, of couse!
Hugs
Kyra
