Orange Is Beautiful

December 3, 2020

Good Morning.  It's a Brrrrr morning, only 32F degrees and feels colder.  My phone app says that the sun will come out soon, and temps will rise to the mid forties by noon.   Amazing, the forties are sounding pretty good to me.

This morning, I found something really pretty on the web and went looking for more.  Can you guess what it was?  I'll give you a hint.  It's orange.  I'm not in the market for a new car, but can't help admiring a really pretty orange one!  Here are a few that I found.

SMART FORTWO

NISSAN SENTRA

$250,000 LAMBORGHINI HURACAN COUPE

Now be honest.  Are these cars beautiful?  Or are they beautiful!  Of course!  They're absolutely gorgeous!  Orange is such a warm, powerful color.

Early last evening, I got comfy and settled in to watch a program on TV and woke up a few hours later.  Ah well, the best laid plans!  Once I was awake I finished a second blue scrubby dishcloth and made half of a green one.  I'll make two of these and then start on the orange ones.

I'm still undecided about which color to make my pocket scarf.  My heart says pick a favorite color, but my brain says to be smart and use a color that will match most anything.  Ahhhh, what's a girl to do?  I found a really pretty sage green yarn, a nice sandstone (beige), a peachy color, and oh my, there are so many gorgeous colors.  This will take me a while yet.

I'm wracking my brain to decide what to get Pogo for Christmas this year.  He loves his fuzzy blankets best I think, but we are inundated with Pogo Blankets.  Even after I gave a lot of them away last year.  I'd love to get him a playmate, but I can't physically take care of another pet.

He doesn't play with toys, and he's extremely picky about what he can and will eat.  Most snacks are out of the question because he can't chew them.  No teeth and no jaw.  He has several beds and lots of clothes.  I would cook him a hamburger cake, but then he wouldn't eat his doggy food any more.  Hmm, maybe I could cook the cake, let hit cool, slice it and package each slice in plastic wrap and freeze it.  Then I could thaw out a slice every now and then to mix in with his doggie food.  Just a thought.

Now I'm going to make a fresh cup of coffee and do a bit of blog reading.  So, till tomorrow, Y'all stay safe and have a fantabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.

I have a 15-1/2 year old Yorkie. He is unable to chew now too so he eats small kibble, with a TBS of water in his dish along with very small bits of chicken that I have boiled and broken up into his dish. He absolutely loves that chicken and will even whine for it if I'm late for his breakfast.

Love those cars, and you know what??? Love the Smart the most LOL!

Oh all those decisions about the color of your shawl, must be terrible hahaha.
Perhaps the peach one could be nice(is almost like orange, isn't it, but softer).

Yeah, difficult to find a Christmas present for Pogo. I think he could like the sliced hamburgercake-parts the best.

Have a great day, stay warm and safe!

Of all the problems to have, not being able to decide what to get your faithful companion for Christmas is a sweet one!

By the way, orange is my favorite color but I never had an orange car. Now I'm thinking how adorable my car (a VW beetle convertible) would look painted orange...maybe I should put it on my Christmas list!

That is a bright color for a car and should be easy to find in a parking lot. My car is white and so are a million other ones:) I try to park near a tree if possible, that helps! Enjoy your day dear friend, I know you will pick something special for Pogo for Christmas! HUGS!

That Pogo is sure a blessed little pup. He has such love and care in his life. I think that is a great gift in itself but I understand your wanting to get him a special gift. I do love orange and love the cars.
I hope your week is blessed and beautiful and you stay warm and cozy. HUGS
