Everything Is Covered With Snow!

December 18, 2020

Good morning.  Well, the snow is done snowing.  At least for now.  It stopped yesterday afternoon.  It took Joe most of the day to clear most of it away using both the shovel and the snow blower.  It never stops amazing me how there are seven dwarfs  (all male) in the house (five of them have an automobile parked in the yard) and Joe is the only one outside clearing away the snow.  I'll have to ask Santa to bring him an extra present.

There's not much happening here.  The wrapping is done, and I've been catching up on phone calls.  I've also been researching to find out when my fashion programs might be on again.  They are so vague about when they might start.  I did find out that a couple fashion programs will be on paid media, but I don't subscribe to any of them.

I'm thinking that I'll make a pot of meat sauce today, and of course a pot of pasta.  Then I'll have to talk to Joe about what to do about dinner on Christmas day.  If the dwarfs are going to be home, then I think we should have a nice dinner for everyone.  I'll pay for it and Joe can cook it.

I just took a break and started an order from WalMart for delivery on Sunday.  I think I'll have Joe pick up the items for Christmas dinner in person so that nothing will be out of stock.  If the Chinese restaurant were open on Christmas, I'd order Chinese take out for all of us.  Just a thought.

Here is an image that I borrowed from the web to share with you.  Every animal deserves a forever home.

And here's another image that I borrowed from the web to share with you.

Now it's time for me to do some blog reading.  So, till Sunday, Y'all stay safe and have a fantabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.

I saw it on the news that in your area there was a LOT of snow. Amazing, just as you say, that only Joe is shoveling! He is a real good guy.
Would be good idea perhaps to order Chinese take out for Christmas dinner. Saves Joe a lot of time and you for thinking what to order for dinner that Joe should cook then. Why shouldn;t the Chinese take out be opened? Here delivery services from restaurants etc. can still go on. And Chinese always i yummie.Only restaurants can;t be visited for having dinner.

Had the operation, I think it went well, and it wasnlt so scary as I thought. We'll see how it is tomorrow(doctor will call me too to ask).

Now I think i will try to have a nap and then a real quiet evening, LOL.
Have a wonderful day,
Hugs

Edna, I think your idea of having Chinese take out for Christmas sounds wonderful. I was in Trader Joe's yesterday and bought some frozen chicken chow mein (lo mein actually - the noodles), and fried rice. You make the chow mein in a skillet and the fried rice in the microwave and... yum. It was delicious. I am thinking of Olive Garden for Christmas dinner. They have a really really good family lasagna dinner take out that includes bread sticks and salad. You have to order 4 hours ahead of time so it is piping hot when you get the lasagna.

Be safe and take care during the cold weather. I am miserable when it is cold. Just want to stay by the fire. Thanks for all the visits and comments during the year. Trust next year will be better for everyone.

Oh I bet the snow is beautiful! Enjoy it and hopefully your one "worker bee" dwarf will get something extra-nice from Santa:) HUGS!

Lots of snow, pretty to look at but ooh so disruptive if you are out there driving in it. The last really heavy, snow-shoveling snow here, was probably ten years ago, and then it quickly disappeared.
Stay warm and safe Ms. Edna.
Hugs,

Love your idea for take out! We had no company for Thanksgiving so I decided to buy 4 turkey and dressing tv dinners. 2 for lunch and if we wanted leftovers , we could have the other 2 for supper! Most relaxed Thanksgiving ever. Might rerun that idea for Christmas.

Snow is beautiful, but what a pain to clean it up. I give Joe a lot of credit. The other guys should have helped him. I think Chinese food for Christmas sounds great. You should do it.
