Good morning. I'm having a late day today. I did not sleep much during the night, so I'm sleepy this morning. I got a new Iris catalogue in the mail, and I've spent many hours looking through it, trying to pick out one iris to order. They are all so beautiful, it's not easy to pick just one.
The Iris comes in so many new colors now. It's really difficult trying to order just one. I'll probably have to order more than one. Gosh, such a problem!
Today will be cloudy with temps in the sixties. Just a bit too cool to sit outside. It's a good day to crochet. On afghans. So I guess that's what I'll do. At least for a few rows.
Meanwhile, I'm watching the turkeys out in our yard. They like the seed that we put out for our birds. And I like watching them.
Now it's time for me to make a hot cup of coffee and enjoy a bit of blog reading. So, till Friday, Y'all have a super day.

Oh dear gardener, if your budget and space in your garden allow I hope you treat yourself to more than one new iris. They give such long lasting year after year pleasure. A noted iris creator lives in my town, his gardens are spectacular.
Always difficult to make a choice in plants!And may be you can just order a few more? Sometimes a package of three or so is at times also cheaper.
It's however a good time spending, looking through garden catalogues, isn;t it?
Hopefully you can sit out on the porch tomorrow again.

Irises are one of my favorite flowers. And you are so right that there are a lot of choices in color and appearance. I would have a hard time choosing one over the other.
Oh, go ahead and splurge and get a couple of irises! (Iri?)
Hi Edna, Some of my iris are now in bloom. My Siberian Iris haven't bloomed yet though and I really love them. It looks like a beautiful day here today and it sounds like you are going to have a beautiful day too. Good Luck in choosing your new iris:)
Iris, Gladiolas, Lilies -- all are such a welcome sight when in bloom!
Irises were my favorite garden flower when we had a home. The purple ones were a special favorite as they bloomed in my favorite color. Enjiy the catalog and making your selections, Edna.
I love blooms of all kinds, those are so pretty❤️ It was 93 here today, sixties would be nice. There is a light rain falling this evening and I sat on the screen porch listening to the rhythm of the falling rain🎶. Enjoy your evening dear friend. Hugs
