It's Springtime!

March 21, 2022

Good morning.  Today will be sunny with temps in the mid fifties.  Tomorrow we go back to the colder temps.   It's Springtime now so temps should be warming up soon.

Friday afternoon, Deanne and I went to the park.  It's so relaxing to sit there and watch all the birds.  (ducks, geese, swans, etc.)  The weather was so nice that there were lots of folks there.  Some folks were feeding the birds and others were just enjoying watching, like us.

The rest of the weekend was quiet.  I did a bit of crocheting every now and then.  Mostly I watched a couple movies on TV.  Today I'll be watching the Law & Order marathon on TV.  And I'll crochet a bit.

For Steve, we have a dish here that we call New England Boiled Dinner.  It's meat (your choice), potatoes, carrots, turnips and cabbage.  It's all boiled in a large pan, and it's delicious!

Someone keeps designing these great crochet tee shirts.  Here's another one I found.

Now I think I'll get a bottle of cold water and do a bit of blog reading.  I didn't turn my laptop on over the weekend, so I have a lot of catching up to do.  So, till Wednesday, Y'all stay safe and have a fantabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.

A very pleasant 64 F here this afternoon. I can sit and watch birds for hours (and sometimes do).

Today here too lovely weather and tomorrow even better. Glad you went out to the park, it is so good to have a sniff of fresh air and have lovely nature to look at.
That t-shirt is great!
Happy you had a good weekend and some fun things to do like a bit of crochet, a bit of tv, a bit of napping(?) etc.
Muppet came over in the afternoon, is now sleeping longstretched in a chair, hahaha.
Now soon there will be times in the afternoons, that the sun will warm the air enough to sit for a little while on the porch. What a happy thought.
Hace a wonderful day, enjoy the Law and Order, stay safe and all that.
Hugs
Kyra

The calendar says spring and while we don't have any snow (thankfully) it's been very windy and downright chilly here in NH this week. Good to read that you and Deanne were able to get out to the park, which we need to do soon as well. We can see the gulls, ducks and geese on the Nashua River below our apt.
