Lots Of Snow Coming

January 28, 2022

Good morning.  Tis gray and cold, and a few degrees higher than yesterday.   Tomorrow we're expecting over a foot of snow.  Today I need to hire someone with a plow to help get rid of a lot of the snow.

My friend Beth said she never heard of Ding Dong, Texas.  So, I looked it up.   Ding Dong is an unincorporated community in Central Texas.  It is situated on the Lampasas River, eight miles south of Killeen in southwestern Bell County.  In the early 1930's, a man named Zulius Bell and his nephew Bert Bell operated a country store along the Lampasas River in central Texas.  (courtesy of Google)

Today will be another quiet, TV day.  Hopefully, I'll be up to crocheting a few rows on my projects.  With all the snow coming, it's going to be a long weekend.

Later this morning, I have some groceries due to be delivered.  I won't be needing anything for a while now.  And in two weeks, I'll be getting a new washing machine delivered and set up.  It will be good to be able to do laundry when I want to.

Now it's time to watch Law & Order.  So, till Sunday, Y'all stay safe and have a fantabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.

Ugh, it doesn;t sound good, a pile of snow!
Cold gone completely now?
We had a rather nice day here, with some sushine. Tomorrow will be less good, grey with strong winds. Oh well, we will survive that.
Good to know you are all set for a while with groceries, with all that snow coming, you'll never know with deliveries.
so good you will have soon your washing machine.
Wishing you a great weekend, of course you will have to stay warm, hope there will be some nice things to watch on tv, and with a nap every now and then, and a cup of coffee or cocoa you get through the weekend LOL.
Hugs
Kyra

We are also under a snowstorm warning and not sure how much we will get in Nashua, NH. I hope you will be able to find someone to plow your drive. We are thankful not to have to shovel anything, including cars. The underground parking is costly some folks say, but well worth it to us. So we will stay safe and warm and watch the snowflakes pile up. I hope you will be doing the same and glad you have all your grocery shopping done, my friend. I will also be watching some shows this weekend.

I hope you get the place plowed and shoveled and your groceries all come. I keep hearing about all the shortages. Have a great weekend. :)

I now the weather reports look bad for you today. Stay warm. I loved the book about the Great Snow by Henry Morton Robinson, that I sent you. Did you ever read it?? It's about a North Easterly. He is my favorite author and also loved his book Water of Life about making Whiskey.

Edna, I hope you still have electricity after this weekend's snowstorm.
