Just Keeping Busy

January 4, 2022

Good morning.  Tis sunny and cold.  18F degrees.  Much too cold for me!   Speaking of colds, I think mine is much better this morning.  At least I'm not so congested today.

Today I'll watch TV and work on the new afghan.  Hopefully by tomorrow most of my cold will be gone.  Here are the two colors I'm working with.  I may pick up the blue in the variegated yarn for the third color.

Deanne will be coming by after work.  She's picking up a few things for me at the market.  Later this week, I'll have to be making a new grocery delivery order.  I don't know how other folks feel about online ordering and home deliveries, but I sure do appreciate it.  It's made life much easier for me these past two years.

I must remember to order more bird seed today.  Maybe Joe will pick it up later today after work.  I'll have to ask him when he comes home for lunch.  In this cold weather, I do not like to run out of bird seed.

Perry Mason is on TV now so it's time for me to skidaddle.  So, till Thursday, Y'all stay safe and have a fantabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.

Beautiful colors you use for the afghan.
Glad to hear you feel a bit better, keep it on like this. Brrrr. 18F if -7C and for me that is not a good temperature either. But we cannot complain yet, it is around 6-7C, let's keep it that way till Spring, LOL.
I understand that online ordering groceries is fantastic for you. I should try it one day too.
Take care and keep warm.
Hugs
Kyra

You have selected some lovely colors, Edna, and sure that afghan will be beautiful and much appreciated. It's very cold here in Nashua today but mid 40s predicted for Wed and rain (ugh) right when we need to do grocery shopping. Glad the home deliveries have been working well for you. ope you have restful days and feel better soon. Best wishes for a good 2022, my blog friend.

You picked another couple of cheerful colors for your afghan! I'm glad you are feeling a little bit better. I did a quick grocery stock-up today as we're expecting snow this evening into tomorrow morning along with winds. Brrr! Your pocket wrap will keep me warm as I plan to stay mainly inside tomorrow for a day of reading:)

Those colors in your variegated yarn are really pretty. A nice combination for January.

I also try hard to keep bird food on hand at this time of year! Love the yarn! It's the colors of the ocean.

Hope you're feeling better. Winter has arrived here, too, and I'm grateful for my grocery delivery scheduled for later today. I don't get a deliver weekly, but it's great for staples and making sure I don't need to get out if it's too cold and slippery. Take care.

Lovely yarn colors.
I can't run out of bird seed either in this cold weather. My son or DIL do pick up deliveries for me at Fleet Farm.
