Brrr! It's Too Cold For Me!

January 16, 2022

Good morning.  It's sunny and 7F degrees.  Brrr!  Too cold for me!   My house is very old and the cold just seems to seep right in through the walls and floors.

This weekend I received a new book from Amazon.  I haven't read it yet, but it promises to be very interesting.

Granddaughter Mia's baby shower was held this weekend.  The baby is due in February and is a girl.  Mia looks absolutely beautiful.  This is a photo of her and hubby, Jarod.

In between my afghan projects, I'll keep making a few baby items to have on hand.  They are fun to make, and one never knows when a baby gift may be needed.

I had a grocery order being delivered today.  However, it came early, and I have just finished putting it away.  It wasn't a very big order, so I'll still have to make another order in the next few days.

Today there's another Law & Order marathon on TV, so I'll be watching that while I attack a big stack of junk mail.  Sad to say, I don't like to deal with the junk mail on a daily basis, so I save it all in a big pile.  Alas, the pile now needs to be done away with.

Now I'm going to make a hot cup of coffee and dig into that junk mail.  So, till tomorrow, Y'all stay safe and have a fantabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.

7F is indeed cold. Time to sit by the fire and read that book.

Mia and Jarod look great!
Oh my, 7F is really cold. I hope that temperatures will rise a bit for you.
Nothing else to do than wrap yourself in fleece or such a thing , have a hot coffee or coco and read a book, or watch the Law and order marathon.
Have a lovely day, (and attack that pile of jnkmail like a bulldog, hahaha).
Hugs

Hi,
You are right! 7F is just to cold to do anything but snuggle under a heated blanket and read a great book and it looks like you have a winner delivered straight to you.

Mia is lovely and it is a great photo of Mia and her hubby. February will be here before we know it and so will that baby girl. I am so happy for everyone. Thank you for sharing that photo.
Have a great evening. xoxoxoxo

It’s a cold and snowing morning here in Nashua, NH, and most likely for you as well, Edna. Being indoors with a good book is a great thing. Congrats to your granddaughter and husband on the expected new family member. Junk mail is a nuisance for sure and I don’t even waste time on it, just recycle, but thankfully do not get an overload.

Hi Edna!
it is cold here even in South Carolina. Not as cold as where you are but for us, this is freezing... We didn't get snow as we don't usually but we do get ice which I hate.. Your granddaughter is beautiful.. What a blessing a baby is.. That book looks REALLY interesting! I think I will go look it up on Amazon. I hope you're feeling better from your cold?
