Jazzy's Senior Prom

May 25, 2018

Good morning.  Tis another gorgeous day here in New England.  The sun is shining, temps are in the high sixties and there's a nice breeze.  Soon the temps will be in the high eighties.  Definitely a good day to sit out on the porch!

Today is starting out just like yesterday.  Most all the pain is gone, and I had another great night's sleep.  Actually, I could have stayed asleep a few more hours, it felt so good.  However, when I cracked one eye open I noticed Pogo staring at me.  I guess he wanted some breakfast!

Have you ever noticed that as people age their skin gets thinner?  Well, mine is getting super thin!  I bumped into something near a doorway and it made a tear in the skin on my arm.  It looked fine but soon after, I noticed the little scrape started bleeding.  So I've been keeping a bandage on it during the night, and leaving it uncovered all day.

Well, last night was Jazzy's senior prom.  Deanne sent me this photo of Jazzy in her gown.  In another week, Jazzy will graduate from high school.  Gosh, this is it.  Their baby is all grown up and soon will be making her own way in the world.  (The young man is a friend, Andrew.)

Ever notice the one thing (other than the TV remote) that all guys seem to cherish?  It's their back scratcher.  My late hubby had a favorite one, made of bamboo I think.  It's very slim and lightweight, but oh my does it ever do a great job of scratching my back.  Yup, now I keep it on the bookshelf near the sofa, and I use it almost every day.

Oh my, Joe is pulling into the driveway.  They must have got out of work early.  Pogo is at the door barking, and I need to go open our pantry door so that Pogo can go out into the house and have his turkey treat.  So, till Sunday, Y'all have a fantabulous weekend.

Hugs, Edna B.

Jazzy looks so pretty in her room picture. Hard to believe she is all grown up already.

I have a similar back scratched that I keep in a corner of the living room. It sure does the job!

I still didn;t read all the posts missed, but I am on the way LOL.
Got the news that your tv remote died and that, thank goodness, you have a new one that works.
And the pain in your back and neck isn;t all too nice. Hopefully it will go away slowly.
hanks for the card you send me, so sweet of you!
Okay, time for me now to make a little post, and then have to take a rest for my back again.
Big hug
