Having Fun With Dolphins

May 30, 2018

Good morning.  Tis a gorgeous day outside today.  Sunny, temps in the seventies and a teeny tiny breeze.  Yesterday was in the nineties, so Pogo and I stayed in, but today is a great day to get out and browse the goodies at our favorite store.

I meant to ask Deanne to take my chia plant home with her, but we were having a good time chatting, and I forgot.  So, I'll have to ask her later.  Meanwhile the plant and all it's fixings are safely napping in their box.  I have a couple other plants that need to be put into pots, but they can wait until later.  I really want to get out today.

Our first stop today will be at the Post Office.  I have some boxes to mail, and Pogo loves to go to the Post Office.  We go to the one in the next town over because the folks there love to see Pogo.  If he is not with me, they ask about him.  The Post Office in my town doesn't allow fur babies in their sacred building.  (sorry, that's the sarcastic side of me showing)

When I go somewhere and have to put up with someone's crying, screaming child, I wonder why my little guy is not allowed to be there.  He is very quiet.  He is simply happy to be able to be with me and look around at everyone and everything.

Ah well, it's too nice a day to rant.  Today I have a photo to share that daughter Audrey sent to me.  She's been making a baby cocoon for a friend.  This one is shaped sort of like a dolphin, and is oh so adorable.  She will be making a string tie to lace around the neckline.  Great job, Audrey.  Isn't this cute?

Sad to say, I did not do any crocheting yesterday or last night.  I meant to, but I just didn't.  Maybe later on I'll see about ordering the colors that I need to complete a couple projects.

Speaking of dolphins, I had such fun making this new quick page.  It's simple, but whimsical.  I hope you have fun with it.

Now I think I'll get dressed so that Pogo and I can hop in the car and go shopping.  Not that he's anxious to get out, but he's been sitting by the door since I opened it this morning.  I know I've said it before, but that door was one of my best purchases.  I'm off now, so till tomorrow, Y'all have a fantabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.
