I Lost My Pots!

May 2, 2018

Good morning.  The sun is shining, there's a bit of a breeze and temps are supposed to hit the mid eighties today.  Woo Hoo!  So, I'm posting early so that Pogo and I can get out on the porch early.  I have more plants to finish potting

Yesterday, we spent quite a bit of time outside putting the plants into pots.  I did run into one snag.  Only a couple of pots had holes in the bottom.  I put holes in the bottom of one pot, but it too me so long to do it that I had to stop and wait until Joe got home from work.

Joe did put holes in a couple of pots, but then I couldn't find where I had put all the other pots.  My goodness, how do lose something you just had in your hand?  Especially something as big as plant pots?  He left to go fishing, saying that he would do the other pots when he got back.

Of course, once he left I found the stack of pots that was missing.  It was sitting right there in front of me!  DUH!  And, to make matters worse, they DID have holes in their bottoms!  Oy Vey!  Anyway, I did get a few plants into pots, and placed them in the greenhouse.

Here's a photo of yesterday's work.

The plants, starting on the right nearest the door, are Blueberries, Coreopsis, Dianthus, and Strawberries.  Today I'll pot the Raspberries and Pansies.  The Tomatoes and Peppers will go into much larger pots when they get a little bit bigger.  I need to figure out how we'll fit the bigger pots into the greenhouse.

If I plant the veggies outside, the critters will eat them.  They always do.  The guy across the street grows his veggie garden along the side of his driveway and none of the critters go over there and eat his veggies.  Hmmm.

I also took a photo of my new Froggy wind chime.  He is just the cutest thing!

I was going to finish the latest crochet dolly dress last night, but somehow I was just plain tuckered out.  While I was sitting, thinking of whether or not to pick up the crocheting, I dozed off to sleep.  When I woke up, I decided it was best to just turn in for the night.

Today I have a new quick page for you.  I call this one "The Lady And Her Tiger."  I hope you can use it.

Now I'm going to make a fresh cup of coffee, and do a bit of blog reading.  So, till tomorrow, Y'all have a fantabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.
