A Big Night Tomorrow Night

May 11, 2018

Good morning.  The sun is shining, temps are in the mid sixties and there's a bit of a breeze.  All in all, it's another lovely Spring day.  My trees out front are filling out nicely as the new leaves are growing to full size.  It's really pretty to look out at.

The plants in my greenhouse are doing nicely.  The strawberry plant has new little shoots, the pepper plants have several little flowers on them and the pink Dianthus is starting to bloom.  I'll have to take some new photos.

Last night, daughter Deanne went to the dress rehearsal for the big Spring musical at the high school.  She called to say that it was awesome, and that I was really going to enjoy it.  This year, they are performing "9 to 5" and Jazzy is playing Dolly Parton's role, Doralee.

This morning, Deanne sent me the photos that the newspaper photographer (Mark Vasconcellos) took.  Jazzy is wearing a curly blonde wig for this role.

Oh my, now I can't wait to go see this.  We're going tomorrow evening, and SIL Eddie says he will make sure I'm able to get in and out of the building and the auditorium.  I can't take my walker or even a wheel chair (for the walking) because if I do I'll have to sit way up in the back.  I do not want that!  This is Jazzy's last school performance because she graduates in June.  So obviously, I can't miss this one.

My project for today is to get my outfit ready for tomorrow night.  And maybe I'll fill up a couple more lunch bags to toss out.  I've been neglecting this project (toss and throw) for a while and I really must get back to it.

The morning is dwindling away and I think I should get busy around here.  So, till Sunday, Y'all have a fantabulous weekend.

Hugs, Edna B.

Edna,
I do hope that you had a great time. Jazzy looks so awesome in the photos, I just love that Blonde wig. What a fun play. I sure hope that everything went well with you getting in and out of the building. I will Call you later on.

By the way, "Happy Mother's Day" to you! I bet that your phone and possibly your house will be filled with lots of Love from your children and grandchildren and your phone will be ringing for little voices of love.

I am very happy that your plants are doing so well. I think that I would love to have a green house and have as many pretty plants as you do and a lot of beautiful trees and flower's.

Give Pogo lots of hugs and kisses for me and a Big Hug to you! Take care of yourself and have an awesome day! xxxx Beth
