It's 5:20 a.m. and I am still at work. Another hour and a half to go. This morning, Pogo gets to meet his doctor at the VCA hospital. He will be having a health check up in order to get his traveling papers. We need these to get his airline ticket for when we go to Florida.
Pogo does not know about this appointment yet, so I'm anxious to see how he reacts. His last visit to a doctor was not a fun one (hair cut, neutered, chip put in, and mouth surgery). My little guy has already had his share of bad memories. The doctors at the VCA are all very caring so I'm hoping Pogo will come away with good memories today.
Yesterday I was able to order a couple more gifts online, and will wonders ever cease? I not only wrapped two gifts, but I got two mailer boxes ready and wrapped a few more gifts. All that, and I managed to sqeeze in a nap before it was time to get ready for work.
This morning I will re-post an older photo (from last Spring) for Mandarin Orange Monday. Cardinals are such beautiful birds and these are the natural orange colors of the female.
Today, Su and I are posting the last two parts of "Pass The Stuffing Please". We hope that you've been able to make some nice scrap pages with this rather fun kit.
Here are your download links:

When you have finished downloading, be sure to visit Su's web site for her last two parts of the kit. Su has also posted a lot of extra's to go with the kit. So be sure to pick them all up. Please remember to take a moment to stop and say thank you. It is most appreciated.
I have finally decided what to give to my Secret Santa partner. She is very much into crafts and home made things, and she has a Yorkie too. But that is all I can reveal here at this time, just in case she has stopped by to check out my blog. I don't want to spoil the surprise.
Wouldn't it be nice, some year, to just give home made gifts? Forget the Black Friday madness and the Manic Monday rush. Just use your very own talents and make something special for everyone on your gift list. Big business wouldn't be happy, but the folks on your list might be. And your wallet would absolutely love you!
On that note, I must get back to work. Till tomorrow, Y'all have a wonderful day.
Hugs, Edna B.

Good girl, you did more than was on your "to do "list!

Okay, haven't downloaded Pass The Stuffing yet; essentially losing 2 weeks of computer just as the holidays are kicking off was pretty major. I guess I'll be caught up by February! LOL
Kaline used to love going to the vet, although she never liked the car ride, she loved her vet she had as a kitten, until that day that Mommy left her there and her formerly nice doctor shaved her tummy and took parts out! She hasn't liked a vet since! I hope Pogo gets along with his new vet better!
I agree to keep Secret Santa talk to a bare minimum until after the reveal! One thing I learned last year is to also not comment on your "santee's" blog unless you already did before this year's swap and don't post a photo of the wrapping paper and then use the paper you posted to wrap one of the gifts you send; it makes it way to easy to figure you out! LOL
Still, I want to leave clues, because that is part of the fun of trying to figure it out, no?
I'm off to enjoy Cyber Monday! I only have my sis-in-law and my aunt left to buy for. Seems the men are easier to by for this year. Hmph! It's almost always the other way around. Then, having finished my plan for this year's Davinities, I have to put together my grocery list and schedule. Groan - the grocery list quickly turns into the grocery bill. I don't like the paying for it part! LOL
Hope you and Pogo have a happy day!
Hugs, Nani
You do so much and I don't even have a to-do list. Sigh. I feel so lazy.
I'm sure he'll do fine at the vet, try not to let him pick up on your nervousness and he should be fine.
I like the idea of homemade gifts and hope to be able to do that since I have lots of time to spend making things now. I just picked up some quilt books and one on making fabric bowls with clothesline anad fabric. I might even get Left Brain interested in helping with part of that project.
Cool capture.
Wow, you are already a step up on most people getting ready for Christmas. Poor Pogo. I'm sure he will be ok. I love the photo of the female cardinal. We have them every winter. A pair of cardinals just love our inkberry bush.
I hope Pogo's visit to the doctor goes quickly and smoothly. And you are far better than me with christmas presents.. i have bought two but haven't wrapped them..maybe tomorrow.
Your bird for MoM is very pretty - i have never seen an orange and white bird. The red colour in the background really enhances it - and I love the square cropping.
Thank you Edna, for taking part in Mandarin Orange Monday:)
Thanx for the gifts and love the orange bird...LOL! Hugs
Thank you so much for this beautiful gift.
