Good morning. The sun is shining and today's temps should be in the seventies. An awesome late summer day.
I've been up for hours, but I've been busy trying to do some holiday shopping online. Plus I put in a grocery order to be delivered tomorrow. There were a few things that I needed from another market but I couldn't figure out how to use the app to place an order. I'll wait till Deanne comes by and have her help me with that one.
It's time for me to get my license to carry firearms renewed. I'll have to call the police station to find out what I need to do this. I meant to do it earlier but then I got side tracked and forgot all about it. I also have the Utah license that is good in 32 states, and it will need to be renewed too. I'll be busy today.
Yesterday I spent the afternoon going through a big bag of junk mail. I don't know why I don't just do this on a daily basis. It would make life so much easier for me. Alas, I just can't seem to make this a habit.
The new great grandbaby due in October just might be coming a bit sooner. September 22 is the new arrival date. Her name is going to be Cerys. (pronounced Karis) It's a Welsh feminine name meaning "Love, Loved one."

You've been busy already very early in the dy. I think well-spent hours, don;t you? Hope the renewal of your fie arms license will not be too complicated.
What a beautiful name for the new baby.
We've had rather nice weather too, bit cloudy at times but nice temperatures. From tomorrow it will be slightly less. Oh well, we still will cope with it hahaha.

Interesting that California and New York have the highest life expectancy. I wonder if that's because they have easier access to specialist medical centers?

I was interested to know that Utah firearms license is good in 32 states. I think that I remembered that figure correctly. I will pass that information on to Matthew. He is wanting to get his license so that he can carry his firearm with him for self defense. He is home for a couple of hours this morning so I will try to remember to tell him.
Those scrunchies... Brings back a lot of meaning for me as they were the first thing that I learned to crochet when I was just 13 years old and had longer hair! I will have to make some for Celeste.
