A Storm Coming

September 28, 2021

Good morning.  Gosh, after today, there's only two more days left in this month.  The year is starting to slip by faster.

I'm waiting for the cable fellow to get here to pick up the little digital converter that was connected to the TV set in the Den (in the main house).   We've removed the item from our TV, placed it in a bag, and I'll give it to the cable person when he or she gets here.  Meanwhile, the cable company has sent me an e-mail and sent me a telephone recording to remind me of my "service call."

This is not a service call.  The person is only picking up a bag containing their property from my porch.  Their email politely told me to keep my distance from their employee, because of Covid of course.  Well, I intend to take the person's photo when they take the bag with the item in it.  I've asked them if I will be getting a receipt and so far, I've been given no answer.  The photo can be my receipt.

We are having sever thunderstorm alerts here in my area.  Severe thunderstorms and hail storms have been spotted one town away from us.  The alert is on for another half hour.  Oops, now the thunder is here.  There was just a big boom.

This is a very short chat this morning because I don't like to be on my computer during a storm.  The rain is coming down heavier now.  Whoops, there's another big boom.  I'm gone.

Till Thursday, y'all stay safe and have a fantabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.

Oh gosh the cable person will be surprised when you want to take a photo, perhaps even will not like it. Well, then he or she will have to give you a proper receipt.
Tomorrow might be rather stormy here too, they say we gcould at least have very hard wind for a while. we'lls see.
Hope you will be okay with the storm and booms from thunder.
Still have a lovely day (and tomorrow to be in advance)
Hugs
Kyra

Hope the cable pickup went OK! I don't like to be online during thunderstorms either. Fortunately they're pretty rare here!

We also had some of that downpour, Edna, but not until the afternoon hours. Hope the cable box pickup went OK.
