Woo Hoo! A Teeny Tiny Green Tomato!

June 17, 2021

Good morning.  Yesterday was a "catch up on my sleep" day.  I did not get much sleep during the night, and I just had no energy all day.  So if I don't show up here once in a while, you'll know that I'm catching up on naps.

My grocery order did arrive, and there were four items missing.  I guess WalMart needs to do a bit of re-stocking.  Maybe I'll try again next week to see if the missing items are back in stock.

I did start the new baby blanket yesterday.  Gosh, it is so pretty!  I'll try to take a photo of it to share.  Hopefully, the colors will show up unchanged.  Sometimes, colors seem to change when the photo is sent from my phone to my computer.  Without Photoshop on my laptop, I can't try to fix the colors.  As soon as I remove the "S mode" from my laptop, I'll see about installing a program that will allow me to fix my photos.

I found this image on the web, and thought I'd share it.  Knitting and crocheting are addictive.  And it's amazing how one can turn a hunk of yarn into something really beautiful.

Yesterday, Deanne checked my tomato plants and found one teeny tiny green tomato.  Woo Hoo!  I just might get a tomato this year!!  I forgot to go out last night and water the plants so I'll have to do that as soon as I finish this post.

I saw a photo on the web of a woman and all six of her generations.  Amazing.  She was 115 years old.  If I see five generations, that will be something.  My great grandchildren are all growing up now so it's a possibility.  (one is in college already and two are in high school)

That's about all my news for today, now I'm off to do some blog reading.  So, till tomorrow, Y'all have a fantabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.

I use Paintshop Pro to edit my pictures. It is easy to learn.

Hoorray for the growing tomato! You;ll see, there will come more.
Today I had a day of having no energy, so I did just a very quick grocerie shopping and nothing more all day. Perhaps it has to do with not much sleeping too and the warm weather. Temps got high in just two days and that is too quick for my system I think(and for anybody's)
It must be annoying that that are things missing from your order. Of course it can happen but it shouldn;t occur too often.
Keep your tomato plants well watered and they will suprise you hahaha.

Gosh, six generations is amazing, but it would be indeed something wonderful if you could see the 5th generation.
who knows what can happen?

Have a beautiful day,
Hug
Kyra

You are way ahead of me on tomatoes. I planted seeds and I still don't see any plants. I think I need to go get plants and not seeds! I'd love to see your new blanket. I often feel as if I am doing magic when I'm knitting. Cute saying.

We had 5 generations on all men and mixed on the Roesler and Lusk families for Gene.
