Good morning. Well, yesterday was Package Day! The hangars that I had ordered came. Super! The batteries came too! Next package was the forks. And the last package was very light and thin. Oh no!! It was empty!! Deanne and I both double checked, but the package was still empty.
I opened the forks and they were too long for what I like. So I called Amazon and they sent me a label to return the forks. They also put in a new order for replacement spoons that would arrive here on Friday. Well, guess what??? The mailman came a little while ago and he had a package for me from Amazon. It was my spoons!! Now how about that for service!!!
When Deanne got here yesterday, she opened the bottle of prune juice for me. Easy Peasy. Oh, to be young again! Now that I've had a glass of the juice, it doesn't taste as good as I thought it did. Alas, waste not, want not. I'll drink it.
Today, Deanne is going to bring me Shepherd's Pie for my supper. Yummy! I know that will taste super! I'm not sure how it came about, I have never been a great fan of cooking. But all my children became great cooks.
I found this image on the web and just had to borrow it to share with you. It gave me the giggles, and I hope it will start your day off with the giggles too. Awesome doggie!
Yesterday I did a bit of crocheting on each project. The pink pocket wrap is a little more than half done, the red pocket wrap is almost half done, and the baby blanket is more than half done. Meanwhile my mind is busy thinking of my next projects. Hmmmm!
Oh, guess what??? I found a couple teeny green tomatoes on the other tomato plant yesterday. Woo Hoo! My tomatoes are now about a quarter inch and a half inch thick. This could be the year I get to eat my own home grown tomatoes!
For all my friends who are going on trips soon, here's an image I found that shows the speed limits for the different states.
Now I'm going to get a cold bottle of water and do some blog reading. So, till tomorrow, Y'all stay safe and have a fantabulous day.

Amazon are just the same in the UK - sometimes things arrive so promptly that you can't believe it, at other times things go less smoothly though I've never had an empty package (yet). Have a good day!
Lot of packages to look into, pity the forks weren't the right ones, but hey, aweseome you had the new ones arriving so soon. Funny about the empty box. Any idea what it should have held?
You will have a whole harvest of tomatoes, I am sure. Own grown tastes somehow better.
You are advancing a lot on your projects, they go quick. Pfew, you hands almost are steaming of the speed hahahha.
I was in the centre today, it was nice weather and a lot of the restrictions are gone, so I did a bit of shopping, but most of the time just looking around in several shops that have been closed for so long. It was a nice afternoon.
Now some parakeets are having a meal they come several times a day.
sheperd's Pie is always yummie. Wonderful Deanne, oh yes, she is.
Have a lovely day,
Hugs

That was a funny story about the empty package and then the spoons arriving shortly after you contacted Amazon, Edna. Yeah to having some tomatoes on your plant. Shepherd's Pie is a favorite of hours, but since we use chopped meat vs. lamb it's actual name is Cottage Pie.
I do hope that this is the year that you get to eat your tomatoes. It will be a tasty treat for sure. I love tomatoes of any kind and I try to eat them as often as I can. Courtney and Celeste are both allergic to tomatoes so they cannot eat things like Spaghetti and meat sauce, pizza with tomato sauce and I made a huge pot of vegetable beef soup and I put peas and carrots, and stewed tomatoes in it and she couldn't eat it.
I loved the doggie and sprinkler image. It was so cute. I could see that actually happening especially with a couple of my doggies.
I hope that you have a awesome day. Hugs xoxoxo
That dog and the sprinkler made me giggle. Amazon is amazing. They should be in charge of many businesses:). I hope you have a “skippeedeedoodah” day. Hugs
An empty package?! Super weird! That dog cracks me up with the sprinkler! Thank goodness Olga hasn't done THAT yet.
