Happy Birthday Gary Jr, and Happy Father's Day To You, Eddie And Mac

June 20, 2021

Good morning.  I got up early this morning.  (4:30 am.)  It rained last evening, so everything is a bit wet.  This is good because all the plants were needing a drink.  Temps will be in the high eighties today, with lots of sunshine.

Today is my son, Gary Jr's birthday.  Happy Birthday Gary Jr.  I wish you a day filled with love and happiness.  It's also Fathers' Day.  Happy Fathers' Day to all my guys, Gary Jr, Eddie, Mac and Sean.  And Happy Fathers' Day to all the fathers everywhere.

I got a lovely surprise on Friday.  Deanne's friend from work (Mina) sent me a beautiful plant.  Isn't this pretty?   Thank you Mina.  I love it!

Yesterday, Eddie installed a camera and TV screen for me so that I can see who is coming into my yard without having to leave the door open.  It really does make things easier for me.  Thanks Eddie.

Earlier, I crocheted a while on the pink pocket wrap.  I did take a photo of the baby blanket, but the colors aren't coming out right, so I'll try again later.  I'm going to do some blog reading shortly, then I'm going to have me a nap.  This getting up wicked early has me tiring early.

Let me share another photo of one of Deanne's roses.  She has the most beautiful roses!

Now I'm going to make a cup of coffee and do some blog reading.  So, till tomorrow, Y'all stay safe and have a fantabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.

Happy Birthday to Gary!
How nice and practical that Eddie did install that camera and tv screen. It is much safer and helps you a lot.
Beautiful plant from Mina. It hink it is a Kalanchoe. You can put in inside but in summer also outside. And they are not difficult to take cuttings and have more of them. Just one leaf in the soil and wait. Most of the time they will form roots and hopla, new plant is born.

That rose of Deanne is soooo beautiful. I am jealous of her LOL.

Have a relaxing nap, and further on a lovely day.
Hug
Kyra

That plant is sweet and yes both Kyra and Steve are correct of the plant name and as Kyra pointed out easy to root and then you will have some beautiful starters for friends and family as well as for your Dwarfs for inside the house.
Deanne's rose is so gorgeous. I had one similar to it when I lived in Las Vegas a decade ago and I regretted having to move and leave it behind but I know that it was cared for as was all of the rose bushes I had planted by the lady that owned the house.
You have a wonderful day and restful naps! xoxoxo
