Good morning. Today is another beautiful day here in New England. Lots of sunshine and temps in the seventies. The weatherman says it is here for a while. We'll definitely take it and enjoy it!
There's not much happening right now. Today I've been watching the Shop LC channel. Everything is $9.99 or under. I'm being good, not buying anything. But, I have been tempted! Some of the bargains have been great. They now have two days each week for $9.99 and under. I'll have to watch both days. (Tuesday and Friday)
I haven't been in the mood for crocheting lately, but I did manage to put a few rows on the red pocket wrap last night. It now has fifty one rows done. Later today, I'll work on the pink pocket wrap. I really should get back to finishing the yellow baby blanket too. I'd like to get started soon on the new one.
I guess I've just been in a funky mood lately. Hopefully, it is passing and things can get back to normal for me. Well, sort of normal. Once you retire, your life seems to take on a new normal. A year and a half ago, I would think nothing of hopping in my car and going for a ride somewhere. I'd like to be able to do that again.
Yesterday, after another hefty downfall of rain, Audrey was able to take this photo outside her home. Isn't this beautiful? Thank you Audrey for sharing this with us.
And today I have photos of one of my rose bushes to share. This one has such delicate, beautiful blossoms.
Deanne and I have decided to go shopping tomorrow. We'll have more time and we won't have to hurry. Sounds good to me. Now I'm off to do some blog reading. So, till Sunday, Y'all stay safe and have a fantabulous weekend.
Hugs, Edna B.

Sorry about the funky mood. We all have 'em! Maybe not the best time to watch shopping TV. Keep that wallet locked up tight! :)
Beautiful, that yellow rose, as well as Audrey's photo of the rainbow. So glad to hear you will have some really nice weather, it makes it easier to go out once in a while. A funky mood we all have at some times, really true. It will pass, suddenly again.
Good idea to put the shopping trip one day later, so you will have more time to do some relaxed shopping and nosing around.
Oh what a good girl you've been, not to give in those low prices for some tempting things hahaha.
Crocheting mood will come back too, don;t force yourself. If you're not in the mood don;t do it. watch some nice tv programs, or take a book or just sit for a while on the porch.
And it is true, that retirement makes our life different, it has a different rythm, we just have to get used to that.
And in the whole, it isn;t bad you know.
enjoy the weather, the shopping trip, and have a lovely day.
Hugs
Kyra
Rain, rainbows and pretty flowers! PERFECT! Enjoy your day dear friend, HUGS!
Oh Edna, you make me wish I could crochet. I did take a class years ago and made a couple of baby blankets and pot holders but I didn't keep up with the crocheting:( On my agenda for today, I go to the library to pick up a book that I reserved and then mow the backyard. I would rather go shopping like you and Deanne.
