There's Nothing Like A New Book!

June 10, 2019

Good morning.  It's fairly early, only 6:15 a.m. and the sun isn't up yet.  According to the weather report, it should be sunny all day with temps around eighty degrees, then rain during the night and tomorrow.  I had a nice nap early last evening, so sleep has been patchy all night long.

Well, let me tell you about my new book   It's called "Shungite -  Protection, Healing and Detoxification.  Shungite is a mineral that goes back  about two and a half million years ago.  In its raw stage, it looks similar to a lump of coal.

I enjoy learning the historical beginnings of minerals, but this book goes into even lengthier explanations.  It also explains all the scientific details of the mineral.  The book is quite interesting, but I could do without all the scientific stuff.  Even so, I'm learning quite a bit about Shungite.

Yesterday, while sitting out on the porch, I kept trying to photograph the little hummingbird that kept coming to the feeder.  It's difficult to photograph anything from inside the porch because of the screen.  Here is my best shot from inside the porch.

I will try to get some better photos.  I'll probably have to sit out in my car to do this.  The bottom half of this  photo is drenched in sunshine.  It may look like the yard is full of water but it is not.  That's just how the screen photographs.

This past week, Jazzy got herself a new fur baby.  Meet Pickles.  Goodness, what a cutie!

*********************Well, it's noon and I've just come back from a nice nap.  I was sitting here typing and my eyes were falling asleep.  Sorry 'bout that.

My goodness, I must have been really tired.  That comes from patchy sleep I guess.  Although it's probably because I spent a good part of the night reading the new book.  What can I say?  I really enjoy books!

Today I think I'll do some laundry.  Blankets and towels.  And maybe I'll try pushing the vacuum around a bit.  The mail carrier came today and brought some items that I had ordered for Christmas.  I'm making a good dent in my shopping.  I think I'll wrap a few things and get them into the mail.  I'm having fun with Christmas this year.

Pogo is by the door barking and wanting to go outside for a bit.  I guess we'll do that before I start on the laundry.  So, till tomorrow, Y'all have a fantabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.

(laughing hard) When I came here earlier I said you must not be feeling well, busy, or still sleep. When I came back a few minutes ago I saw the time on your blog and you said good morning. I said what happen because I didn't see this blog and as I was reading I see you had stopped and returned after your nap and finish the blog. (lol) Get some more rest and enjoy your day. Now I feel better since I know I am not going crazy. (lol) Have a beautiful restful day.

That little fur baby is so cute.
