Dealing With A Very Tricky Internet

March 4, 2016

Good morning.  Joe is out on the porch having his coffee, Audrey is just waking up, Pogo is curled up beside me, and I'm here with you.  It's a good morning indeed.  I hear movement behind me.  It's Audrey coming down to have breakfast.

Pretty soon, Pogo, Audrey and I will be heading out for another flea market.  Then we'll come  back here and have fun with our projects.  Audrey will be heading for home tomorrow morning.  Alas, this week has flown by too quickly.  Joe will be heading back home on Monday morning, and Pogo and I will be on our own for the rest of the week.

Yesterday afternoon, I tried downloading some photos from my phone to my laptop so that I could share them here with you, but they just won't download.  I tried several times, but no luck.  This morning I tried again, and I still had no luck.  Sorry.  I guess the only photos I can share for now are the ones I take with the camera.  The internet here is simply sucky!!!

I found this item on the web and thought I would share it with you.  Tomorrow night when you go to bed, remember to set your clocks ahead first.  It's Daylight Saving Time again.

OOPS!!!!!  Somebody on Facebook is having fun with me.  Daylight Savings starts on Sunday, March 13, 2016.  Not this Sunday --  A week from this Sunday.  Sorry 'bout that.  (Thanks Rhoda for catching that for me)

Another fun thing coming up is the Total Solar Eclipse.  It will happen next Wednesday.  You can Google it to find more information.  I hope you get to see it.

There's not much to write about here, especially if I can't download photos to share.  It's quiet, and we mostly just sit around with our crafts (projects or the pool) and relax.  But then, that's why we came here.

Now I think I'll start getting ready to go out to the flea market.  So, till Sunday, Y'all have a fantabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.

I feel your pain about internet problems. We're at the fairgrounds now for the rally and luckily they have internet for sale and it seems to be working.

Hi Edna,
Such a shame that we in our area will probably not get to see the Solar Eclipse as they are calling for storms several days next week. Some of them could be severe. It was 2o years ago on March 27th that the F5 tornado hit Jarrel Texas. That is about 25 minutes away from us. It obliterated the entire town.
I was watching the news forecast where they said that we could have storms that have the potential for tornados. I hope that they are wrong.

What a wonderful surprise for you with your nephew being on the same flight and how lucky that you were able to sit so close together. Yes Mam, that is one handsome little fellow.... Opp's and Pogo to of course. Can't leave our furbaby.
I finally figured out why Cisco is not sleeping and why he is being so fussy and not content to stay in my room with me or in the front room. He is missing Nathan since he is now at my daughters house. He is looking for Nathan.... Broke my heart when I realized what was going on with him.

Hopefully the new mattress will be much more comfortable for you.

I guess I had better close. Cisco needs to go outside... talk to you later, Hugs, Beth and Cisco.

Daylight Savings starts on Sunday March 13 so don't change your clocks this week!

Glad you are having such a good time in Florida. It sounds so relaxing. And hope you get the sleeper sofa fixed. It's no good if you can't get a decent sleep.

Pity you will not have company next week. But you always have Pogo to talk to if you want to LOL.
Let's just hope you will have the same nice weather nice week, then you can spent as much time at the porch as you want and may be the internet will bahev a little bit better.
So just enjoy the days as much as you can.
(amazing how fast a week can go by, hey?)

So post your phone pictures on Facebook. We can see them there. Your computer should download your phone pictures, you just have to figure out how to do it. Look at the bottom of your list of photo files when you have the phone plugged in. There should be a file with your pbone name on it. If it is there click on it and see if the pictures are there. If they are you can make your own file and transfer them in. Or maybe right click on the phone file and it may ask you what you want to do. I have had every problem in the book downloading my pictures since I added Windows 10 and I have tried many things and eventually I was able to download ... Thankfully, because I have many, many Thailand pictures. Glad you are so enjoying your Florida trip and was glad to see that Joe and Audrey were with you. Now it will be time for some quiet time or "me" time once everyone leaves. Enjoy, Enjoy, Edna. At least you don't have to worry about jet lag when you go home ... not a fun experience for an old poop :) Be well, Edna and enjoy your stay in the warm, warm sunshine state ...Love to Pogo. (Bad news, Izzi is limping badly on her other back leg ... we go in next Tuesday to have it looked at :( ).
