Yeahhhh, I Made It!

December 6, 2012

Brrrrrr!  Goodness it's cold out there!  I feel so bad for taking Pogo outside in this cold, but until he decides to use the potty patch it will have to be.  The good part is that the sun will be shining soon.  I can see it getting very bright behind the tree tops.  (7 a.m.)

Well, my packages got here yesterday and I was able to finish up my wrapping.  When Joe gets home from work later today, we will load up my car and head for the post office.  Yeahhhhhh!  So, to everyone who gets one of these boxes in the mail, Do Not Open Till Christmas!

One of the things that I made for Christmas gifts is note cards featuring some of my favorite photos or photo art.  I have to say that I am quite pleased at how they look.  Here's an assortment of  the first batch.

My calendars came out pretty good too, because I have orders to sell two of them.  Hmmmm, I've never thought of selling them before, but at least that tells me that they look okay.

Janet came by after work yesterday, and we had a nice relaxing visit and supper.  Later, I was able to sit at the laptop and do a bit of designing.   I feel pretty good now.  There is just one gift left to buy, along with a couple of gift cards.  Tomorrow, once the bulk of the bags and boxes are out of here, I will be able to put up my tree.  Now if only the housekeeping fairy would drop by and do her magic!

I'm thinking that I have to take Pogo shopping for a new coat already.  That one pound that he put on has made his winter coat feel a bit too tight.  I will look again to see if they have tiny boots that will fit him, but I don't really know if that will help.  He does not like walking in the rain and snow, but then again, I think maybe the boots would just hinder him.

Well, now it's time to settle in with a hot cup of coffee and catch up on my blog reading.  Till tomorrow, Y'all have a fabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.

If you have an in with the housekeeping fairy, put in a good word for me. I could use a little help mostly because I hate doing it and would love to have a fairy to do it for me :)

Your note cards are beautiful ... what a great gift idea. And the Calendar, what you showed of it before, looked awesome ... maybe you should go into business. You could get an Etsy shop. I shop at Etsy all of the time because I love what they have and I love that it is all made in America. We all need to focus on buying American ... lets get some of our own businesses flourishing.

I hear you about the boots for Pogo, but I know people who use them and swear by them. Pogo would get used to them. Izzi is too much of a mover ... jigging, jagging, jumping and chasing. She would run right out of the boots so I have opted not to get them for her. She loves the cold. She has so much coat that she is her most energetic when the temperature goes down. She doesn't mind going out in the snow or rain.

I have a freind coming over today and we are going out for lunch, then for a Gelato ... do you have Gelato where you are? I am hooked on Mint Chocolate Chip Gelato. I don't get it often because it has a direct route to my hips, but my mouth waters just thinking of it.

I am picking up on your Christmas spirit ... tree should go up here soon too. I love reading your blog ... it is such a lift. You have another good day, Edna ... and thanks for your encouraging words.

Thanks for your visits, even if it is only by cyber space.

Earlier in the week our temps were in the high teens/low 20's, today we are expecting 36C.

Loved your photos of the mist rolling in and I too think your notebooks are a great gift idea.

Lucky you having all your gifts wrapped and ready for posting....I still have a few left to buy. I will get that done in the next few days.

Enjoy your day

Must feel good to have it all, almost, ready, the boxes and such!
I wonder if there are such tiny boots, perhaps on the baby department LOL?
Now I quickly will post and then Jan and I will be busy, very busy, with Christmas decorating!

Your cards and calendar look lovely and I'm sure they make good gifts. If you are able to sell them that's a sure sign people like your photography.

I can just picture Pogo in tiny little boots. I love cats but you sure can accesorize more with little doggies.
