Merry Christmas! Oh Oh, April Fool! Happy Easter!

April 1, 2018

Good morning.  It's really quite lovely here.  The sun is shining, there's a little breeze and temps are in the mid forties on their way to the mid fifties.  Happy Easter to everyone.  Today is a little bit sad and a little bit happy.

Pogo's little friend Cisco has passed over the Rainbow Bridge.  Lately, Cisco hasn't been feeling so good, so when He held out his hand, Cisco went with him.  Rest in peace little one.  Here's a photo that Beth had posted a few months ago.

I was watching the Weather Channel earlier and they were saying that some states have already got a foot of new snow today.  OMG!  Maybe April Fools Day will kick in and the snow will melt before tomorrow?  Ya, I know.  Dumb thinking!

I'm hoping that this nice weather that we're enjoying is going to stay and I can open my porch pretty soon.  It's April and there are lots of little green plants coming up out of the ground now that a lot of the snow has melted.  I'll take some photos today to share.  First let me post the April page from my calendar.

I'm going to have to set up a new folder and start saving photos for next year's calendar.  It would be nice to be ready early to make the next calendar.  I'll have to pick out some photos for the cover of my next Blog book too.  In another month, it will be time to have that book printed.

Daughter Deanne called me yesterday with some awesome news.  The electricians union that Eddie and Kevin belong to has joined up with Fenway Park.  Kevin bought a batch of tickets, and his taking his Mom and Dad to the April 10th game when the Red Sox play the Yankees.  Woo Hoo!

I went online and bought a couple more patterns for bathroom tissue dollies.  Only one of them downloaded so now I'm waiting to hear from the store to see if they will send me the second pattern again.  I'll take photos of the patterns tomorrow.

Today I have an Easter quick page for you.  As you can see, even the little animals have been waiting for the Easter Bunny to bring them a basket full of goodies.  Have fun with it.

Here is your download link:

I think today I'm going to play for a while on my laptop.  I'm in the mood to make a few more quick pages.  First, I'll take Pogo out in the yard for a while to stretch his little legs.  On that happy note, I'll take my leave.  So, till tomorrow, Y'all have a Blessed Easter Day.

Hugs, Edna B.

Thank you Edna. Always look forward to your creations. Have a wonderful day playing/working on the computer as I'm sure you'll find much inspiration to make additional things to share. Blessings, dotty

Hope you had a good Easter. Here in Pennsylvania we got snow this morning. Fortunately it is just a little bit and laying only on the grass. But enough is enough, you know. So sorry to hear about Cisco. It's so sad that our pets don't live as long as we do and we have to say goodbye to them. Have a good day!

Edna,
Thank you so very much for posting the photo of Cisco. He is missed so very much. At moments we don't think that we can endure and the next we are remembering some of the little things that he use to do that made us laugh so hard.
I have received 2 very sweet emails from the lady that is doing the Water-Aquamation. It is so very nice of her to email me and keep in touch. I find that comforting, that Cisco wasn't just handed off and never heard from again. So this is really nice of her.
I hope that you and Pogo had a great day on Sunday. Did you and Pogo get your Chinese food? Ohhh Yum! Karyn made enchiladas for Jonathan and I and we had a great lunch and lit a candle for Cisco.
I am going over to my blog and post. Talk to you later in the day. Hugs, xxxx Beth

Aw....Cisco! What a cutie. That is what make me so sad about fur babies. ANne, another blogger, from Texas lost her fur babies a dpog and cat very very close together. She went to a rescue shelter and just wanted to feel good. SHe ended up adopting an older boy kitty. A few weeks later she found out he needs thousands of dollars worth of dental work! MOney she and her hubby really do not have, I am talking major surgery, thousands!! It is quite sad, because that shelter knew of this and made no disclosure. ALso the cat's original owner passed away and that is why he was hthere. So sad. But she and her huby are doing what they can and found a fabulous vet dentist who appears to be an angel from God above. Life is tough, gotta pray harder. Love and HUgs to you and CIsco's human too! xoxo
