Good morning. Tis on the cloudy side today, and temps should reach about 40F degrees. Not so bad for this time of year. Tomorrow we're supposed to have some rain, so maybe I'll wait till Friday to go grocery shopping. We'll see.
Yesterday the mailman brought packages, and so did the UPS guy. Wow! My new induction burner is here along with a few more presents for Pogo and me. I'll take some photos today to share here tomorrow.
Hopefully, DIL Janet will be coming by later today after work. She wasn't able to come by last week, so we have lots to catch up on. I've saved a couple episodes of our favorite TV program so that we can watch them together.
Today I thought I'd share photos of a few of my great grandchildren. As you can see, they all had a very happy Christmas. First we have Alima, who has learned to walk. Then we have her big brother and sister, Jack and Lilah. Next is Aurora (she'll be walking soon) and then we have Alena, who is wearing her new dress. I am so very blessed.
My goodness, I just looked up towards the front door, and the sun is shining. Looks like it will be a great day after all. In a little while, I'll open the door and put Pogo's little scatter rug down so that he can sit by the door and watch the birds and critters outside.
This afternoon, I'd like to spend some time on my laptop creating a couple new quick pages. After that, it will be time to start a new backup of all my files. It's been a while since I've backed everything up.
It's time for me to start shopping for airline tickets for my upcoming trip to Florida. It takes a while to shop around for the best price. After that, I'll start practicing how to pack a little bag. (haha)
Well, that's my news for today. So, till tomorrow, Y'all have a fantabulous day.
Hugs, Edna B.

Such beautiful children...what a blessing to have them in your lives.
I have to say thank you again for the strange furry toys you sent George and Gracie. I have never seen them play so hard with this kind of creature. It's delightful to watch them scamper and chase and bat them around. I've not had this kind before and it must be the lightness and furriness perhaps that they love. I know what to buy next time when these are totally destroyed. The ears and eyes have already been played right off of them and I see one has been ripped open. Oh they are such viscous beasts and I can imagine what their little kitty minds are thinking as they stalk, pounce and kill them. Or maybe I don't want to know what goes through their minds.
Edna,
Oh such amazing pictures of the kids... wow.. They have gotten so big. I cannot believe the baby is walking and of course not long for the other little one to be walking too. You are truly blessed!
Not much is going on here at the moment. I am very sleepy still. This new medication really makes me tired but the pharmacist said my body should adjust soon. It is to bring my heart rate down and to protect my remaining kidney so even tho I seem to have trouble falling asleep, I sleep really deep and hard when I do sleep.
I think that Pogo will get the idea of how the steps work soon. Unless he is like Cisco and just likes to be picked up and tucked in ha. I have a couple of pics of him to share on my blog and I think that I need to go over and do that. Our internet was up and down. Finally called the office and they said that they are working on a new tower and it should be fixed by today. I hope so. Right now it seems to be working well.
Soon a new year will be here. We have no plans at this time. We might go to a movie but that is a little iffy right now. It depends on what is showing and Jonathan said that maybe we would just order a movie from U-Verse and stay home. I know it is a lot cheaper that way!
Have a fantastic day and enjoy all your presents. They are awesome! Love, Beth
YoUr grandchildren are adorable.
Isn't it fun to get presents or packages. I tried to tell my husband that I order online for the boxes to mail out my etsy orders. He didn't buy that excuse. Enjoy the sun.
Your great-grands are beautiful children! Thanks for sharing the pictures of them. Oh, once they start walking you just know they are going to get into mischief.
