Good morning. It's a gorgeous day outside, but I'm indoors here with the Mrs. Ah well, maybe we can get out in the yard for a bit later today when it warms up a bit more. I think she might like that.
I've been looking through the ad from The Christmas Tree Shops, and I think I've found some nice yard furniture that might be affordable this year. They have a rather nice two seater bench with a table in between the seats and it comes with an umbrella. I'm thinking that a couple of these might be nice for the yard on the other side of the house where it is all grassy and there is a privacy fence.
Maybe later this afternoon Joe will go with me to the store to look at these yard sets. While we are there, we can have a look at this year's floral offerings. I am just itching to get some new stuff growing in the yard.
On my way to work this morning, I noticed that all the flowering trees and shrubs are finally blooming and looking simply gorgeous. This is such a pretty time of year. No wonder I love Spring time the best.
I dug into my photos from last summer and found this pretty shot of some Sweet William. At least that's what I think it is. I have to do some close up work for a challenge, so the second photo is the close up I will use.
Now I must get busy here. The Mrs is roaming around in her electric scooter and I need to keep an eye on her. lol. So, till tomorrow, Y'all have a fabulous day.
Hugs, Edna B.

Spring cannot come soon enough for me! It's getting better here but still pretty cold.
Can't wait to see what you plant! Hugs~ Terri
Hope you find something nice for the garden, seats as well as plants.
Be careful with the Mrs, when she is speeding with her scooter LOL!

Oh yes, I agree, Spring does seem to be here too. You seem to be way ahead of us though because none of our trees are blooming, they are just beginning to get their buds. Our cold winter put everything behind. I am about to launch into my spring exercise program ... cleaning the yard and preparing the gardens. But the first thing on my list today is to give Izzi a good brushing. I have been so comsumed the last two weeks she has been neglected and she looks like a little rag-a-muffin:)
So I hope I haven't missed Pogo's Birthday. I have really been remiss when it comes to my blog this week. Too many things happening here. One, I told you about last week ... my friend is doing well considering her loss. My daughter on the other hand is not so we have been running to doctors. Yesterday I took a day off from all of that to drive with my friend to pick up her new rescue dog. She is a bi-black sheltie and she is beautiful and sweet. I am happy for both of them ... they deserve each other.
So I need to go back and read posts. I am way out of touch with everyone ... until then, I will be thinking of you out shopping for seats, tables and flowers. Sounds like a good time to me ... Have a good one Edna ...
