Good morning. Well, it's here. Today is your last chance to get your taxes filed on time. You have until midnight tonight to get them postmarked and in the mail. Or sent by email. Whatever your pleasure.
This looks like it should be a pretty good week weather wise. Temps are supposed to be in the high 50's to mid 60's F all week. I can definitely dig it!
Well I made it through my long shift. To be honest, it wasn't so bad. I set up my laptop and showed the Mrs lots of photos. After that, we blog hopped for a while. She said she just "can't get over how people all over the world can chat with just a little laptop". She stayed in a pretty good mood for the rest of the day and evening.
When I got home this morning, my little guy was so happy to see me. Wow! What a great way to start the day. It's a great feeling having Pogo squirming and wriggling in my arms and rubbing his little face all over mine. You just can't beat fur baby lovin'.
Right now, I'm watching all the bad winter weather updates on TV for other parts of the country. Gosh, winter just does not want to quit! Some folks are being buried in tons of snow. The newest winter storm, Yogi, is already dumping more snow in places that already have more snow than they know what to do with.
In North Dakota, they are worried about the flooding when all the snow starts to melt. I have an idea. Why not load the snow on to railroad cars and send it to the dry areas of the country. Can this be any more expensive than repairing all the damage from severe flooding? I tend to think it would be the cheaper way out. Oh well, just a thought.
This morning, I have Parts 3 and 4 of "Spring Is In The Air" for you. I can't give you better weather, but I sure can help you make cheery scrap pages. Here is my preview, followed by your download links.

Don't forget to stop by Su's blog later this morning, and pick up her two parts. While you're there, don't forget to take a moment to say hello and thank you. This is so much appreciated.
Today is also Mandarin Orange Monday. I took a photo of a beautiful new vase that came with some of the Mrs' Easter flowers. I just love the shape and colors on this little vase. However, I really need it to be orange so I blended it with a layer of orange, using the "Difference" blending mode in Photoshop. I was happy with the results, so I stopped playing right there.
This morning, I picked up breakfast at McDonalds. Sausage, scrambled eggs, biscuit and coffee. I shared the sausage and eggs with Pogo, and right now he is curled up next to me. His little belly is full and he is a happy little camper. He and I make a good pair. It doesn't take much to make either of us happy.
The daffodils are blooming outside my door, so I'm headed on out to take a few photos. So, till tomorrow, Y'all have a gorgeous day.
Hugs, Edna B.

What a wonderful collage in sunny colors. Gorgeous ! Best regards, Synnöve
I like the concept of shipping the snow to other areas. I'm betting there' would be volunteers ready to help shovel just to get rid of it.
You MOM vase is scrumpchy ... I love the colors and will have to try that blending mode. You must be learning things the right way ... I still just stumble through until I get something I like.
So good for you that you made it through your 20 hours. I can only imagine how overwhelming the internet must be for the Mrs. It is amazing to think about what she has seen over her many years. I think it is wonderful that you share your pictures with her and the internet ... you are a good soul. I am going to have to cut this short. Izzi has been ringing her (I need to go outside)bell for awhile. Sometimes she does that because she wants to go out to play, but when she persists it usually means business. I'll try to get back later. Have a nice day, Edna ...

I'm glad you got through your insane hours workday!
We had a windy but beautiful and warmer day today. I loved it! Went to the doctor's in just a t-shirt, no bulky coat.
I love the vase photo art. Beautiful!
I'm thinking of running for congress; I can get all the facts and do nothing as well as any of them do and I want their health insurance. I could definitely use your ideas on my staff. hehe
Let's selfishly hope that spring is here to stay in MA and OH!
hugs, Nani
Glad that all together your shift wasn't too hard. It helped certainly, that the Mrs stayed in a rather good mood LOL.
Can't believe that in other parts of the US they are still having snowstorms!
It should be a little bit cooler today than yesterday, but if it stays for a couple of weeks this kind of weather I shouldn;t complain!
Your kit is in very cheerful colors!
Okay, I'm off to do a bit more blogreading and then will have to busy here, sigh LOL!
Hug

Good Morning! Thanks for your visit! I was way too busy yesterday to even get on my computer, so today is catch up day...LOL! Lovely daffodils, great looking turkey and that vase is fabulous! Wish I had one like it! LOL! Was glued to the TV with all that terror and mayhem in Boston...so very sad that we have to have such brutal and heartless people in this world we live in!
I actually had to turn my AC on yesterday and today as it hit 90F and then tomorrow a front will come in to drop us back into the upper 30's at night. It was 72 at 5 a.m. this morning! And way too humid!
Yes, fur baby loving is the absolute best! Give Pogo another hug and y'all have a pleasant day together! Chat more later! Hugs, Mat
O, forgot to thank you for your lovely gifts too! I do appreciate them so much! :)
Edna you did a beautiful job with the vase - it really does glow - a real fantasy sort of feel.
And yes, it is so true what you and Andrea said about the bond with our children and also the importance of art in our lives.
Thanks for being part of Mandarin Orange Monday:)
Wonderful pics.
