Tis a beautiful sunny morning here in New England, and it's quite breezy. But at least it's not too cold. Yesterday started out quite gray and wet, but by mid morning the sun came out and warmed everything up nicely.

Eddie and Bobby were able to come back and almost finish the new fence. All that's left to do is a couple of sections at the front and replacing a couple of sections in the backyard. It's looking very nice. Come Spring, it's going to look even better when I see green grass and colorful blossoms by it.

Late yesterday afternoon, I called Snowy for an update on Erik, and to see how she was managing. The only news on Erik is that he is stable at the moment, but still in the induced coma. As for Snowy, she's been getting a lot of designing done. Still, it must be difficult for her, not knowing what will be happening with Erik, and having to go home this coming Monday.

Today, I have a couple of errands to do (hopefully), and I'm waiting for the cable man to come and replace a couple of my cable boxes so that my TV reception will be better. In between, I need to do the laundry. I also want to get outside later and get photos of the new fence.

I have a few new photos from yesterday to share with you this morning. This first one shows a brand new little Red Japanese Maple tree looking quite healthy. Actually, there are a few of these on the other side of my shed. You can see from the leaves, that the wind is quite brisk.
*
This next photo shows what's left of all the beautiful scarlet red leaves on the parent tree. The wind has been blowing and there's only a handful of leaves still clinging to the branches.

Even the flag over our front door was dancing away in the breeze. To me, that's a beautiful sight - our flag waving gracefully in the breeze. Can you tell we're sort of patriotic here?
*
Now I need to get busy here. I have lots to do today before I run out of steam. Till tomorrow, Y'all have a fantabulous day.
