Delicious!

July 21, 2022

Good morning.  Today will be sunny and hot with temps in the low nineties.  It will be a good day for a nap.  I did not sleep very well during the night so a nap is in order for today.  First, I will watch the rest of my morning TV programs.

Yesterday I had a tomato (from my plant)  sliced and in my sandwich.  Yum! Yum!  I plant tomatoes every year.  It's good to finally be able to eat them.

We're having a lot of hot temperatures now, so please, please, don't leave your pets in your vehicles.

The town has brought a meal to me on several different days over the last couple of weeks.  Deanne is checking to see what's involved in me getting these meals every day.  It's a big help, and the meals are tasty.

Sometimes I find some of the cutest things on the web.  I found this image and just had to have it.

Now I'm going to have a look in the fridge to see what looks tasty enough for lunch.  So till Monday, stay safe and have a fantabulous weekend.

Hugs, Edna B.

Today here it is cool, but soon it will go up again in temperature.
What a good idea to have those meals every day from the town, it surely will be a help and if they are tasty too, hmmm, good from Deanne to check it out.
That sign is ever so great LOL. Always admire all the peope who think them out and also find such a cute or funny design to it.
Have a wonderful nap and great weekend too.
Hugs

Hi Edna, I think it's wonderful that you are able to get at least one and maybe more lunches during the week delivered to you. You won't need to wonder about what to eat because it'll all be there delivered to you. It's pretty hot here too and I am so thankful for A/C. Sometimes I wonder how people can work outside in such hot, humid weather. You take care now and enjoy your lunch and TV shows before settling down for a nap:)

Recently I stuffed some small tomatoes with a mixture of mayonnaise, bacon bits, and grated cheese. Not low-calories, but a good use for tomatoes!

Yes, everyplace in New England is getting the heat wave, Edna, like the rest of the country and the world. Luckily, the weather was only in the mid-80s on our Maine getaway last week. This week it has been in the mid 90s every day in NH and even a bit higher which is what will be coming on Sat and Sun. Napping is a wonderful thing to do especially in a cool home. It will be nice if you can have the meals delivered more often.

YUM tomatoes. Ours didn't do good this year for some reason, but we got a few and they were really tasty. I have nights when my sleep is not so good and YES a nap feels good in the afternoon. Enjoy your day dear friend, HUGS!

The tomatoes this time of the year are the best of the season, we love them cut up with cucumbers, and the tiniest of dressing.
Hoping this hot weather is cooling down this week, I'll be grateful.
Your book sounds like a good read Ms Edna, thank you for sharing.
Hugs,
