An Old Pair Of Shoes

May 14, 2019

Good morning.  What can I say about the weather here.  It's raining with temps in the forties.  Some of the week's forecast has changed a bit.  Now we should have two sunny days coming up by the weekend, with warmer temps.  I hope this is a sign of good weather to come.

I slept a bit late this morning, but then I got busy cropping photos to share here.  I even tried to figure out how to get my favorite video from the weekend posted here.  Unfortunately, it was filmed sideways, and that's how it shows up here.  Sorry.  I don't know how to turn these things around yet.  But it is posted on FaceBook.  (it shows up okay there)

I didn't post all the videos from the show to FB because the show is still running and I do not want to spoil it for folks who have not seen it yet.  I can post more of them in the later part of June.

I do have some photos to share.  I love the color orange, so look at these gorgeous roses that Deanne brought me.  The pink carnations are from the show Sunday.

Then I got a box in the mail from Audey with this beautiful family heart.  These are all my children.

Even Pogo had a nice surprise for me.  He must have ordered it one day while I was out grocery shopping.  This is two shades of blue topaz with while topaz.

All this, plus cards, phone calls and the show on Sunday.  What can I say?  I'm spoiled and I love it.

Yesterday, Deanne, Pogo and I went back to the brand new Ocean State Job Lot store to do some more shopping.   We love that store!  I can't reveal a couple items that we bought because soon those will be in a box and mailed to someone else.

But I did buy another wind chime.  This one is a dolphin.  I hung up my newest wind chimes on the porch.  I will move them later when the plastic comes down.  This might be happening this coming weekend.  Woo Hoo!  Here's a shot of some of my wind chimes.

I love the sounds that these chimes make when a breeze comes along.  The flamingo is solar, and lights up at night.  At least it's supposed to.  I don't think the switch on my flamingo works.  But that's okay.  I bought it because it is so pretty, and it makes beautiful music.

I'm still using my old laptop, but I haven't given up on my new one.  It won't be long before this old laptop will finally give out, and by then I should be able to find my way around the new one.  It's like an old pair of shoes.  You just can't get rid of them because they are still so comfortable.

Now I have a box to pack, and I'm off to a bit of blog reading first.  So, till tomorrow, Y'all have a fantabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.

I'm a big fan of Ocean State Job Lot. My only regret from this weekend is skipping one because of time constraints.

Oh Edna I do so love your wind chimes and your roses are just as beautiful as I imagined. I am so happy that you enjoy the cabaret and that you can go and Jazzy is AWESOME!!!! Oh my what a delightful way to spend and evening out and I would order the Prime Rib dinner as well. Yum!

I am sorry that I haven't commented on many of your blogs but since I figured out how to get your blog on my tablet I have been reading and it will not let me comment. It says that I am a suspected Bot! So I decided I will stop reading from my tablet unless I am away from home and use my computer so I can at least comment.

Well I have to say that you really are spoiled... and Pogo has wonderful taste as that ring is stunning. I love it...

Going over to my blog and post so I will talk to you soon. I will be out and about for most of tomorrow and the next day but will try and give you a call in the afternoon. Much love... Beth and Foxy
