These Cool Temps Feel Wonderful

September 7, 2018

Good morning.  Today is starting out a bit on the cloudy side, but the cool temperature feels really good.  Today's temps are supposed to get barely into the low seventies, mostly in the sixties all day.  Yesterday afternoon, the dark clouds rolled in and the heavy rain came, along with thunder and lightning.  It only lasted a while, but it left a couple of really big puddles out here.

My goodness, the fellow from the remote starter company just called and said he'll be here in about thirty minutes.  Gosh, the company told me he'd be here sometime between nine and five.  This is wonderful.

I got a new coupon for my next Blog Book in my email.  So, yesterday I spent some time going through all my posts taking out the QP links.  I left in all the ones for the month of August.  If anyone wants these quick pages and haven't yet downloaded them, the links will be up until Monday  afternoon.  After that, they will expire and I'll start my new blog book.

In case anyone else is looking to make a book, Blog2Print.com is offering a 35% discount through September 12.  The promo code is SUMMERBLOG.

Today I thought I might share some tasty remedies from a new book, Super Remedies.

Let me know if you try them and what you think of them.  I just got the book, so I haven't had a chance to try them yet.  They do sound delicious though.

I'll take my leave now because that remote starter fellow should be here shortly.  So, till Sunday, Y'all stay cool and have a fantabulous weekend.

Hugs, Edna B.

Thanks for the information about the blog book. I'll check it out. Those drinks do sound good, especially the cranberry one.

It's been raining somewhere here all week but it's just raining in my little town today. I was wondering when would it come to us. I had Chemo last Tuesday and beginning to feel better. So hopefully next week I can get my son to tiller my garden and I can start planting my fall garden. It has really been too hot this summer to keep any vegetables alive. My okra is still producing but not like it did last year. By the way I open one of my jars of canned tomatoes and they were great. I did a meat loaf and instead of buying tomatoes and chilis I used my tomatoes and jalapeno. My peppers are still producing and doing great. Hug Pogo for me and let him know I will never forget him. (lol) Have a great day.

Hi,
Your recipes from your new book sounds really delicious. I really like the cranberry one. I might have to give it a try when I go grocery shopping. I wrote it down.

Lucky you in the 60's today! We are warm but not really hot but the humidity makes it all feel sticky today. I wanted to sit out on the patio but the mosquitos were attacking me so I came on inside.

Give Pogo cuddles for me. I have my Foxy today. She and Karyn are over. Foxy barreled in like a racing bullet and woke me up with kisses all over. She is under the cover with Karyn sleeping right now. I am thinking of a nap myself... Hugs and I will call you later on.
Have a super fun and fantastic day my friend... Beth

Seems you had a rather"quiet" week tis time, meaning without any big things that "died"on you(like e.g. the fridge and those kind of things). just the starter on the car, but that will be fixed soon enough, as the guy came real quick.
That birthday party must have been a happy event, seeing a lot of your family again and also lots of children9sometimes they can be a real pain Lol but often also a great joy just watching them).
Hmmm, may be i will try that recipe of the mached potatoe pancakes one day. looks good.
Oh, i am so happy I did read all your posts this week today1
sometimes I can do some during the week, but often I just seem to miss the quiet and time.
you really should talk with your doctor about your medicins. strange he says you shouldn;t take one and it makes you feel less good. Of course he also is right in saying that we shouldn;t take too many, if really not necessary. Still a good chat with him sounds a real good idea.
Well, time for me now to post on my blog, I am already a bit late.
Have a great week, stay safe and have good times with Pogo!
Hugs
Kyra
