My Favorite Craft Supplies Are Becoming Rare

September 26, 2018

Good morning (for another fifteen minutes).  I started out waiting for our new mail person so I could give her/him some outgoing mail.  Yesterday, the mail was delivered between 9:30 and 10 a.m.   Well, today that did not happen.  I gave up waiting around 11 a.m.

Next, I went online to search for more doll bodies for my crochet projects.  They are becoming rare, and when you do find them they are expensive.  Eventually, I found some and in the process of trying to purchase them, Internet Explorer decided to throw a tantrum.  It messed up my order and shut down my PC.

After several attempts to get back online, I finally found the doll bodies again and placed another order.  I checked to make sure my order went through and in stead of buying five doll bodies, it looks as if I may have bought eleven of them.  Some days I just can't win.  If eleven of them show up here, I'll at least have them on hand in case I ever need them.

I just took a walk out to the main entrance of the house and checked the mail bin. Yup, the mail was there.  So it must have come while I was here looking for doll bodies on my PC.   And, surprise, surprise! My newest blog book came today and I can't wait to look at it.  I glanced quickly through it and it looks awesome.  This company, Blog2Print (Shared Books), does an excellent job. The books just keep getting better and better.

In looking through some of my old photos the other day, I came across this photo of my old house.  The size of the house gives you an idea of some of the stuff that we had to cram into this little apartment.  No wonder my little space is cluttered.  Over the years, I didn't bother with it, but now it's just got to go.  A little bit each day.

The sun was shining in this photo, so it makes the back of the house look a different color but the whole first floor was green and the top was white.  You can even see the ugly iron posts that I bought and had installed along the whole side of the house to protect it from trucks and cars.  The little side road led to the back of a popular bar and restaurant.

Today I have a new quick page for you.  This one embraces the new season, Autumn.  I hope you like it.

It's almost twelve thirty now so I need to go to the kitchen and see about our lunch.  Plus I need to figure what's for supper tonight.  DIL Janet will be coming by later after work.  So, till tomorrow, Y'all have a fantabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.

Always enjoy what keeps you busy all day. I thought about having my blogs put into books, but never did and know so many would cost a fortune.
