Happy Birthday Niko

Good morning.  So far, it's a bit cloudy outside, but oh boy!  The cooler temps feels wicked good!  The sun pops in and out and there's a lovely breeze.  My flag is gently moving a little this way, a little that way....it's just loving the feeling of the coolness against its fibers.

This is Labor Day weekend, and folks everywhere are enjoying cookouts and gatherings with family and friends.  One of my great grandsons, Nicholas, is celebrating his tenth birthday today.  Happy Birthday Niko.  I hope your day is awesome, and may all your dreams come true.  I love you.

This is also the beginning of a brand new month.  Can you believe it's already September?  Here's the September page from my calendar.

The kids are all back to school this week.  My youngest grandchild has grown now and is starting college, while my three oldest great grandchildren are already in Junior High and High School.  My next goal in life is to see some of my great great grandkids.  How about that?  Wow!

I thought I would show the colors of the dolly dress that I'm working on.  They are Lavender and Crushed Berries.  I'm thinking that this variegated yarn would look great with either the light pink or the medium pink.  Hmmm.

I've been watching the shopping channels this weekend because they are having their Labor Day Clearance sales, and wowsie!  I've already got two beautiful Christmas gifts at wicked low low prices.  Oh wow, I need to shut the TV off.  I just got two more gifts.  It's time to change the channel to Law & Order reruns while I can still afford to pay the cable bill.  hahahahaha!

Now I need to be getting a few things done here so that I can go to the birthday celebration in a little while.  Before I go, let me give you another new quick page.  This one is for everyone born in September.  Your birthstone is Sapphire.  The most well known color is blue, but it comes in every color except red.  The red corundum is called Ruby.

Now I really must get going.  Yesterday when I did my grocery shopping, I forgot to pick up my meds.  So I'll have to stop and get them on my way out to the party.  I'm really quite the scatter brain lately.  So, till tomorrow, Y'all have a fantabulous day.
