Good morning. Today is cool and gray. We're supposed to be getting rain today. No problem, Pogo and I went out yesterday and did a bit of shopping. We picked up some bird food and bird treats, got a few things for the house, and we even got a few things to put away for Christmas.
In fact, Pogo finished just about all of his holiday shopping. While we were at the register paying for my purchases, Pogo was charming everyone who was behind me in line. He has a way with folks, and everyone at that store loves him, customers and staff alike.
This is the beginning of a new year on the Jewish calendar. So, to all my Jewish friends and family, L'Shanah Tovah! I'm wishing you much happiness and good health.
I've been monitoring Hurricane Florence and I don't like her at all. This storm looks extremely menacing to a very large area. To my family and friends in that area (and everyone else) please be careful and stay safe. There are four more hurricanes brewing in the Atlantic. Ouch!
Lately, I've thought about my daughter Kerri quite a lot. Not sure why, but maybe it's because of recent contact with her children and grandchildren. Recently, while I going through some of my old photos, I came across one of my favorite photos of Kerri. Within a few days, that same photo showed up on Facebook. Coincidence? I don't know, but I'm going to post her photo here. Kerri was a beautiful young woman and I miss her.

Last night, I crocheted for a while, and finished the dolly outfit. Today, I'll get these last two dollies dressed and take photos. I have to say, the Crushed Berries with Pink outfit is really beautiful. Maybe I can start on the orange outfit tonight.
I found an item on the web about a very useful item that all pet owners should carry with them. One never knows when tragedy will strike, and we need to know that our beloved fur babies will be taken care of. I'm not sure where you can buy this item, but I'm sure it can be found on Google or Amazon.
Oh my, that silly man! Now I'm off to make my calls. So, till tomorrow, Y'all be safe and have a fantabulous day.

That last joke is funny. I read it to my husband and he laughed. I'm so sorry about your daughter. She was beautiful. I'm sure you miss her.
I am watching that hurricane too. And the others also. Praying for all those in the path of Florence. It looks like it will be bad.

Kerrie's photo is just beautiful and I know that you miss her. I lit a candle in her memory for you today.
I don't like the looks of Florence either. At least the other two are not supposed to hit the mainland. I can't say the same about Olivia in the Pacific taking aim at Hawaii tho. I am worried for Audrey. My news today said that all of Virginia are encouraged to evacuate. I was thinking of her animals as well as for her safety. And of course her property.
I need to update my blog but today has been very draining and I will probably wait until tomorrow. Things here have been crazy. I have some issues that I have to take care of and for the life of me I cannot find the energy to cope with any of them right now. Family included.
Give Pogo a big KISS and tell him auntie Beth is so happy he has his Christmas shopping nearly done. Whew.. I wish we were all as lucky.
