Another Busy Day Ahead

September 20, 2018

Good morning.  Today is a bit cloudy, and temps will stay in the low sixties.  Alas, I do believe we are seeing the end of the summer temps.  In two more days we'll begin a brand new season.  Even though this summer has been way too hot to be outside a lot (for me), I'm sure going to miss it.

Autumn is a beautiful season.  The colors and temps are just wonderful.  However, it leads us right into the cold temps of winter.  That's the part I'm not so crazy about.  Winter seems to be the longest season of the year.

Well, yesterday was a really busy day here.  I slept fitfully the night before.  I finally fell into a nice sleep around 6:15 a.m. and slept until 9:30 a.m.  By the time I had made a cup of coffee, Deanne was already on her way here to go grocery shopping with me.  So I took one sip of my coffee and started getting dressed.

I get around slowly nowadays, so it took a couple hours to do the grocery shopping.  When we got home, Deanne carried it all into the house for me.  Now that was definitely a blessing.  Carrying the bundles into the house takes me a while because of my breathing.

While we were at Walmart, I stopped by the Pharmacy and got my super dooper flu shot.  It's that time of year folks.  If you haven't got your flu shot yet, do so before the flu find it's way into your neighborhood.

DIL Janet came by after work yesterday and we had a really nice visit.  We had Pot Roast for supper, then we spent the evening crocheting, chatting and watching TV.  Janet has just started on her Christmas crochet projects.  I'm hoping she is able to get them all finished in time.

Today I have a lot to do.  The new fridge is being brought in this afternoon, so I have a lot of things to move out of the way of the workmen.  When I finish this post, I'll start on that.  Once it is done, I'll be able to sit down and do a bit of blog reading.  Maybe.  It depends on what time the fridge gets here.

I borrowed a couple things from the web to share here.  This first image is for those of you who have kitty cats for pets.

This next image is nothing personal against blondes.  (I used to have blonde hair in my younger days)  I just thought it might give you a giggle to start your day.

Now for today's quick page.  This one celebrates the end of one season and the beginning of another one.  I hope you like it.

Now it's time for me to get busy here and start moving things around.  So, till tomorrow, Y'all be safe and have a fantabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.

Be careful moving those things around. We don't want you to hurt yourself. I like the saying about the cat. When my dad passed away my cat was a great comfort to me. And the blonde joke was funny. Hope you have a great evening. Give Pogo a hug for me.

I am glad to read that Florence didn;t bring you too much trouble, just heavy rain for a day, but okay, it was needed(only in perhaps smaller portions at a time???).
Good that you had Deanne by your side to do the grocerie shopping. You are blessed to have her quite close to you so she can help out every now and then.
Take care with moving things around, ask for help if you think it is too much for you!!!!
We don;t want you to get hurt or take a fall or whatever.
well, I move on to you next posts for catch up!
See you there
