Hollywood Is Calling Pogo

July 1, 2018

Good morning.  My goodness, it's already July!  Whatever you do, make sure to take some time to enjoy the moments because before you know it, it will be Winter.  Here's the July page from my calendar.

The temperature here has been warm (very warn!) but Deanne and Eddie and Kevin came by Friday afternoon and  put my air conditioner in the window.  Thanks guys, it really does help me to breathe easier.  Pogo and I go out on the porch for a while, then we come back inside to the coolness.

Audrey decided to redecorate Alena's bedroom this weekend, and oh my it looks sooooo pretty!  Alena is going to feel like a real princess while she sleeps at night.  Here's a photo that Audrey sent to me.  It looks great, Audrey!

Meanwhile, Deanne and Eddie went out to drive some really fast, snazzy cars yesterday.  Here's a photo of Eddie in the Ferrari that he drove at 100 miles an hour.

And here's Deanne in the Lamborghini that she drove at 110 miles an hour.

Wowsie!  What an exciting outing this must have been.  This is a memory to last a lifetime.  Just think of the great stories they can tell their great grandchildren someday about their day of speeding along in these fabulous cars.

I thought I would check in on Facebook the other night, and guess what?  My friend Mary Ann had posted this awesome picture she had made of my handsome little Pogo.  Oh my, this is awesome!

Oh yeah, Hollywood is calling.  Or at least they should be.  They just don't know what they are missing out on.  He is such a handsome and lovable and smart little character.  Where ever we go, Pogo steals the show.  He's a people magnet.  Of course, I get to meet a lot of nice folks too.   Thank you Mary Ann, we love it!

Today I have a new quick page for you.  This one celebrates the Fourth of July holiday.  Have fun with it.

So what are you going to be doing this week?  Will you go to watch a fireworks display in your local city or town?  Pogo and I will be watching the fireworks on TV from the comfort of our living room.  I think taking him to the field where the fireworks display is being held would be too upsetting for him.  I just wish all my neighbors would be so thoughtful of their doggies.

Tomorrow, I'm taking Deanne to lunch to celebrate her birthday.  I think it will be a day of meals for her.  In the morning, she's going to breakfast with her friend Caroline.  They share the same birthday.  They remind me of my brother.  He and his best friend also shared the same birthday.  Later in the day, I think Eddie will be taking his wife out to dinner.

Well, now I think I'm going to get me a cold bottle of water, and do a bit of blog reading.  So, till tomorrow, Y'all have a fantabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.

That was such a great photo of Pogo that you took. Gene said I should do special effect photos of pets for people who would like them. It makes for a great gift that is personal and something most can't do for themselves.

Are those beautiful July purple flowers tulips. They are so pretty. The temps broke today but to windy to bike ride.

Enjoy your forth...We plan to go to Ryan for BBQ.

Can I get a pawgraph? Hello you two, been awhile since I have been by to say thanks so very much for all the lovely QPs and all the newsy daily posts. I have read them all and enjoy them so much, just been lazy and really preoccupied by some serious illnesses in the family! My sister Kathy has been in/out of ICU 6 times in last 2 months, in rehab at the moment! A sister of my ex (still family to me) has also been in ICU with serious heart problems and her sister and hubby have both been receiving some serious treatments....so...just not been into being on the computer that much! BUT HAVE THOUGHT OF YOU DAILY! Thanks for the friendship and all the cute pages....hope you are finally getting a reprieve from the excessive heat...we are really experiencing a lot of heat this year and some awful humidity and no rain in the northern parts of TX but lots down south of here! Have a wonderful weekend! Hugs, Mat
