Happy Birthday Deanne

July 2, 2018

Good morning.  It's going to be another steamer today.  Gosh, yesterday mid-afternoon, I looked at the weather on my phone and it said that it was 96F degrees here.  Ouch!  Right now, temps are close to eighty, and it's really nice.  In a while, we'll be back in the nineties.  The house is warming up now,so I've had to put the A/C on to cool things down.

My little Pogo had a rough time trying to get to sleep last night.  He kept moving from spot to spot.  I finally turned the A/C on for a while to cool the air.  Of course, that means I'm not getting any sleep either.  Actually, I didn't really get many winks until after six this morning.  Between then and ten o'clock, I probably got a couple hours of sleep.  Guess who's going to be taking a nap this afternoon.

Today is Deanne's birthday, and we're going to go to lunch in a while.  Right now, she's out enjoying breakfast with her best friend Caroline.  They are celebrating both their birthdays.  Girls, I hope your special day is awesome and full of sunshine, love and happiness.  Happy Birthday!  I love you.

Today I thought I'd share photos of some of the pretties that bloom around my yard.  Here are the white roses and the red roses that are in the little garden by the shed.  (it's right across from the porch)

This is the petunia plant that the critters feasted on.  I brought it onto the porch to see if I could get it to grow and blossom again.  It appears to be making a little progress.  The plant in the elephant is the double impatiens.  It likes shade so it is quite happy on the porch.

The begonia blossoms were beginning to fall over, so I hung them from the ceiling.  Already they seem to be happier.

I think I mentioned before that I had searched for some Imperial Topaz that I could afford, and finally found a ring.  It wasn't very expensive so I ordered it.  Well, it came a few days ago.  I'm not crazy about the style of the ring, but the stones are really beautiful.  This photo doesn't do the beauty of the stones justice.  There is a peachy undertone to the color that makes it really pretty.  That doesn't show up in the photo though.

I've been watching the year end inventory sales on JTV these past few days.  Not all day and night, just mostly when the silver jewelry shows are on.  Gold is nice, but I really love silver.  Or white gold.  Some of the sale prices are just out of this world!  I have been really good.  The only thing I ordered was another copper ring, this one set with a pink topaz.  I wanted a bracelet too, but they did not have my size.  I'll keep looking.

Now I think I'm going to do a bit of blog reading before it is time to get dressed for my luncheon date with Deanne.  So, till tomorrow, Y'all keep cool and have a fantabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.

Your flowers are so pretty. I never saw a ring just like that, but like it. Have a lot of nice jewelry that I thought I had to have when younger. Now do not wear any today.

As I don't open up the computer every day at the moment I missed Deanne's birthday. So give her my happy belated birthday wishes! She is a wonderful daughter to you!
Wow, Deanne and Eddy certainy had a great experience driving those speedy cars.
Oh, and ogo should have a nice contract from Hollywood LOL!
and the room Audrey decorated looks really fit for a little princess.
Now on to your next posts, I just have the time for that now.
