A Great Day For A Party

July 15, 2018

Good morning.  Tis another really beautiful day here in my little part of New England.  The sun is shining, there's a little breeze and it's eighty degrees.  Just a perfect summer day.

And yesterday was a beautiful day too.  Just right for Jazzy's graduation party.  The pool was sparkling and the food was delicious.  The yard was filled with lots of family and friends.  There were four generations of my family there.  Was I a happy camper?  You betcha!

Here are photos of just a few of my grandchildren and great grandchildren that were at the party.  In this first photo, Great grandson Carmello finally gave in to naptime.  He had played hard, in and out of the pool, and his tummy was full of food.  He fell asleep sitting up.  Carmello is seventeen months old.

In this photo, grandson Kevin is watching great granddaughter Alima chasing Sassy (the dog).  Kevin will be twenty one next month, and Alima is three years old.

Here, great grandchildren Lilah and Jack have dressed mom (granddaughter Randi) as a movie queen and are taking photos of her.  Lilah is eleven and Jack is thirteen.

They have a "fun photo" booth set up, and here's SIL Eddie posing for the camera.  As you can see, we were all having a grand time.

Even Sassy had a good time at the party.  Here she is enjoying a bit of pool time before the kids take it over.  She even has her own floatie pad.

I had left Pogo at home, with the fan on to keep him cool.  When I got home, it was kisses and hugs time for me.  Even if I'm only gone for twenty minutes to do an errand, Pogo greets me with lots of hugs and Pogo kisses.  When he was done, I cooked him a hamburger for his supper.  You know he licked the plate clean!

Later, while Pogo and I watched TV, I finished crocheting a new tissue dolly.  I'll take photos later.  All in all, this was an enjoyable and memorable day.  Thank you to my daughter Deanne for all the hard work she did putting this party together.  Well done Deanne.  And to my granddaughter Jasmine, may all your dreams for your future come true.  Folks, I am truly blessed.

Today I have a new quick page for you.  This one brings together some of my favorite things; whimsy, fantasy and nature.  I hope you like it.

Now I'm off to see about some lunch for my little guy.  So, till tomorrow, Y'all have a fantabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.
