Happy Birthday Pogo

April 27, 2018

Good morning.  Tis another pretty Spring day outside my door.  Today's temps will be in the sixties.  I love it.  Last night I left my new plants out on the porch all night.  Let's hope that this morning they are still okay.

Today or tomorrow, Pogo and I are going shopping.  I'm thinking we'll stop by the pet supply store to buy some new Summer shirts for Pogo. He could use some new ones.  And, if anything else catches his eye, we'll get that for him too.  Because, guess what?

Tomorrow is Pogo's birthday.  He will be twelve years young.  It just doesn't seem possible that almost six years has gone by since the first day he came to live with me.  This little guy puts a sparkle in my eyes and a song in my heart.  I hope he's with me for at least another twelve years or more.  Here's a page I made for my precious little fellow.

Tis the season for planting and growing things, and I've been getting excited about growing a few things in the new greenhouse.  Last night, a blog friend, Angelica, shared some photos of her garden with me.  Wowsie!  What a beautiful garden!  She uses raised beds and grows quite a variety of veggies.  Here are photos of her garden.

What beautiful plants!  If mine grow like this I'll be so surprised and happy.  I haven't had much luck these past few years trying to grow veggies.  Pogo asked Angelica what her fur babies looked like and what their names were.  She sent him this photo.

My goodness, they are beautiful!  And look at their furniture!  Their couch is like Pogo's, only bigger.  They are (left to right) Mila who is a beige and white Maltipoo, Queen who is a beige and white long haired Chihuahua, and Babs who is a brown short haired Chihuahua.  Angelica, thank you so much for sharing these photos with us.  Your family is simply gorgeous!

Folks, unless I already have it, I always ask for permission before sharing other folks photos.  I don't want to make anyone uncomfortable about sharing photos.  I will always respect other folks' wishes.

Now I think I'm going to make a fresh cup of coffee and do a bit of blog reading.  So, till Sunday, Y'all have a fantabulous weekend.

Hugs, Edna B.

Happy birthday to Pogo....When I grow up I want to dress like Pogo. (lol) He's such a handsome little boy. I love how you dress him. Thanks for the photo display. Let me give you the story of the furniture. I bought this sofa for all three of them but Milo was the newbie and Queen and Babs ran him off the sofa. Although they had two cots where they could play switcheroo, they didn't want Milo to have no part of this sofa. I said okay you girls are being mean and I watched how Milo sleep and ordered him a snuggle sofa because he sleep snuggled in a little ball and the sofa fit him well. Oh well, Queen and babs decided they would also take this one. I saw both of them hanging off this little snuggle sofa and I laughed so hard, and said to myself, gotcha. (lol)They gave up on the take over of this one and now they love Milo and sometimes I see all three is now sharing the big sofa with Milo in the middle of the 2 girls. Everyone that have met Milo falls in love with him. I have 3 smart beautiful fur babies. My son act like they are his real human sisters and brother. By the way, Queen belong to him but I raised her from a tiny little thing and I call her mine. He keep reminding me that Queen belong to him. (lol) I would have shared their photos with you earlier but I lost track of my software website where I could download the photos and get an embedded code. You are always welcome to share any photos I send you. Have a great day

Wow, what a great veggie garden Angelica has! Pfff, that really is a lot of vegetables. I already would be happy if my tomatoe plants will do well, and one or two herb plants LOL.
Have to make a little post on my b log now, so till next time
