Good morning. Well, it started out sunny, but now it's a bit on the cloudy side and quite cold.. The snow and rain that we were expecting yesterday never did show up, so that was nice. If the rain can hold off now for just a few more days, the work on my house can get finished. This would be really nice.
There's really not much news for today, so this will be a short post. I've been playing a bit on my laptop with photos and making changes to them in Photoshop. Here's one I'm working on. I used a photo of raindrops on some plant leaves in my garden, cropped it, added a little duck with his umbrella and an overlay of rain. It's fun and easy.
That's it for today. Now I'm going to take my car to the gas station and fill the tank. I tried stopping at four different stations at 7:30 this morning, but they weren't open. Unfortunately, they won't be open later when I leave for work, so that's why I have to go out now.
Till tomorrow, Y'all be safe and have a wonderful day.
Hugs, Edna B.

Good Morning...still frozen here and so very bright, but it is still not sunshine, maybe by the afternoon. They are shutting down some major highways today and asking folks to stay home and off the roads as they are going to try scraping sanding, DE-icing, whatever it takes to get the roads clear for Monday morning rush hour...this is pretty bad stuff, should see all the 18 wheelers that are parked in WalMart and Sams, etc (that aren't stalled out on the high overpasses that are frozen solid. We have this weather so seldom that the crews cannot keep up as we don't have enough equipment or materials to keep all the major roads open and when we have the overpasses stacked 5 high...what can you expect from an ice storm. We wound up with 3 1/2 inches of ice and sleet. My driveway is solid ice...may take all week to thaw it out as we are supposed to get above freezing by the afternoon. LOL!
Can you send you handsome house cleaning handy man my way Please? I am sure it would put me in the seasonal mood. I have not EVEN thought about my tree yet, but I do have my cards out and boxes ready to take for mailing when I can get a vehicle out. :)
Love the cute little duck with his umbrella, great idea and so creative. Well, here's hoping you and Pogo have a fabulous Sunday!
Hugs, Mat
What fun a few droplets and a duck can do for you! If you were here we finally got a ground cover of snow and COLD! Must get back to the card list. Enjoy!

Missed you yesterday morning on my blog reading LOL!
But good to hear you had a real good sleep. Sometimes we just need that.
You will read and see on my blog our hard work during the weekend!
Yeah, isn;t it scary the prices to send something by post???? Sometimes it almost costs more than the present itself!
Same with just stamps for a letter, They get higher in price every year, sometimes twice a year!
Looks as if they want to get rid of people sending things by the post.
But what is nicer than recieving a letter in the mailbox, or a package at your door, when the doorbell rings and the postman has it in his hands?
Email and such is okay, but it's not the same!
Okay, going to post now, and then finish the last decoration things today.
Have a wonderful day
Hug
Kyra
