A New Texture For You

December 13, 2013

Good morning.  This morning is cloudy and cold, and I'm not expecting it to warm up much today.  It's 20 degrees F with a wind chill of 6F.  It should get up to about 29F later.  It could be a lot worse, I know, but 49F would feel so much better.

Today I have another fuel delivery coming.  I wanted to get it in before the storm hits tomorrow.  I've also called my boss and left a message that I will not be going out in this snow and ice this weekend.  She will most definitely not be very happy with me.  Hopefully I will still have a job next weekend.  I just feel that my health is more important than being on the roads in bad weather.

Well, yesterday I finally finished my wrapping and  got my last three boxes filled, taped and ready for mailing.  Later today, Joe will go with me to take the boxes to the Post Office.

While I was busy in the bedroom getting everything wrapped and packed, Pogo was busy in the living room doing his own wrapping.  I guess he figures his package will be safer it it is wrapped and under the tree.   I did jiggle it, but it doesn't make any noises. He still keeps his eye on me though, so I'll have to be good and wait till Christmas.  Gosh, I just love this little guy!!

There's really not much news for today.  I'll be watching the Weather Channel most of the day to keep with the latest storm news.  I do have a new texture for you.  If you want it, be sure to get it before the end of the month.  The beginning of January I will be deleting all links so that I can have my next blog book printed.   Here is the newest texture.  Enjoy.

And here is your download link:
Expired.

Now I'm going to rustle up some breakfast and maybe do a bit of taping.  I still have four episodes of Project Runway to put on disc for Audrey.  So, till tomorrow, Y'all be safe and have a fabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.

That would make an interesting texture, I haven't played with those for a while.
I'm sure Pogo got you something wonderful. I'd be afraid of gifts from the cats since typically they like to present dead birds or mice as tokens of their love (if they were allowed to run free, of course).
You have yourself a nice weekend...I'm feeling somewhat alive for the first time in over a week now.

My Mom had a Yorkie that would unwrap all the presents. It was so funny but it was also a pain sometimes.
I hope you got something special from Pogo. You are such a good Mama to him.
Thank you dear for your card. It has been so nice getting to know you since our swap last year.
so far my swap package hasn't come yet but that's okay, it will be fun when it does arrive.
Hope this storm coming tomorrow is kind to us all. Good for you for calling off. You don't need to be out and about.
I am resting and off my feet this week-end.
Hugs and Happy Holidays

You did a good thing to call your boss, that you didn;t want to go out in this kind of weather!Of course she will not be too happy, but I think you will have your job still next weekend.
Love that Pogo, keeping such a good eye on you,now you cannot cheat and will have to wait till Christmas unpacking the present!
Nice of Joe to go with you to send your last boxes, and good to know he is around to help when it's needed.
Have yourself a great, lazy weekend!
