November 6, 2009
I woke up very early (too early!!) this morning, and crept out to the living room and started working on a knitting project again. However, I should know better than to try to re-make a project that already gave me problems. Last night I did another three rows on it, and then found some mistakes that I could not fix. So I ripped the whole thing out, and Audrey rolled the used yarn into a huge ball. This morning I only got the first row done and managed to make a horrid knot in it. I guess I will switch over to crochet.
Today, I hope to start wrapping some of my holiday gifts, and get boxes packed and ready for mailing. Then maybe next week I can start addressing my Christmas cards. It will be such a nice feeling to get all of my holiday stuff done early this year. Then I can relax and enjoy the season, as I will be working both Christmas day and New Years day this year. However, I do get to spend all of Thanksgiving day at home with Moo, so that will be nice.
It is already 9 am, and the house is so quiet you can hear a pin drop. Everyone is sleeping late, except for the ones who left earlier to go to work. Oops, I spoke too soon. I think I just heard Moo out in the hallway. Usually we are already up at this time, but it has been so busy here, that it's a treat to sleep late.
Last evening Dee Dee, Eddie and two of the kids were here. It's not often my children can get together as they all live in different states, and have such busy lives, so this was a really nice visit. I have a couple of photos to share with you. I love showing off my beautiful family.

Note the name tags! The grandkids brought them for fun. I suppose maybe they think that I am so old now that name tags will help me to remember who everyone is. Thanks kids!! What a wonderful idea!!!

Audrey is up now too, so I guess the day has started here. I think today we can just relax and have some quiet time together. Time for me to get dressed now. Y'all have a fantabulous day.
