It's Not Nice To Be Mean To Old Ladies

April 17, 2015

Good afternoon.  Wow.  I don't what I did wrong, but this post was almost finished and all of a sudden it was gone!!  Just disappeared!!  Well, I'm not going to try to remember what I had written and re-write it all over again.  This is very discouraging.

I was in a very nice mood, and now I feel as though I've shot my foot off!!  Well, not technically, but you know what I mean.  I really don't like it that my laptop and Blogger have minds of their own and care so little for what I want.  This was not a very nice thing to do to me!!!

What I wrote earlier - in a nutshell - I slept very late, Pogo won't eat doggie food for breakfast, new dwarf seems like a nice guy, I'll call the doctor if I'm not better by Monday, and it's wet and gray today.  I think that about sums up what I had written.

So before take my leave to go look for something tasty for our lunch, I have some cute photos to share that I had taken the last time Pogo and I went to the park.  There was one pair of pigeons that I found quite beautiful and interesting to watch.

Tonight, (and over the weekend) Jazzy will be performing in Shrek the Musical with one of the drama groups that she belongs to.  I'd love to go, but not while I'm coughing.  Good luck Jazzy girl.  I'm very proud of you.

Well, that's my news for this morning.  Now I'm off to the kitchen to see if there is anything in the refrigerator that might seem tasty to Pogo.  He needs to eat.  I don't want him getting sick too.  So, till Sunday, Y'all have a wonderful weekend.

Hugs, Edna B.

Oh Edna, I'm sorry you're still feeling poor. I've been battling spring allergies for a few days but I'm winning the battle for the most part. The hardest part is I'm on the week that's a little stricter dietwise and I crave sweet things like crazy when I'm stuffed up. Maybe you're having a delayed reaction to a newly developed allergy to snow?

I like the pigeon picture; they look like a happy couple. :)

Hope we're both 100% soon!

Hugs, Nani

Good luck to your sweet grand girl! Do you take High Blood Pressure meds? My hubby has an awful cough and only one medication cleared it up and the ins. will not allow him to take it! Argh...so he takes three different ones in place of that one and they felt his pressure was a little high yesterday so he has to get a higher dose of one! I hate doctors and health care and politicians and bankers and can not forget the pHarm people! All in cahoots over this health care. DO not let them fool you. I worked the medical end of it, I worked the research end of medicine and I worked for the cheapest doctor on earth plus an insurance co. They are all money grubbers. Plain and simple. My hubby had one med to pick up it went from about $5 a pill to over $30 and the cost $300! we can not afford that a second time so he needs to ask his doctor to change it! How ridiculous and if you do not have ins. they will fine you. Nothing has changed other than A L L politicians are filling their greedy pockets full of tax payers money while enjoying the high life while we work ourselves to death for them! I am sorry, but Americans are so mislead. The group running for office so far, I would not vote for any of them, just my personal opinion. Americans are heading down a dead end road. Sadness.
But I do love your photos and wish Jazzy well. Or break a leg as they say in show biz!

I'm sorry you aren't feeling well. Yes, do go to the doctor esp. if you are coughing.
Sorry, I have been around a lot lately. It's just crazy right now. So worried about my DIL. I don't think she has any clue that this is going to be a life changing event for her. Just hoping that she gets it and does what she is told. She does Cross Fit. She is trying to say it was from a med they gave her for the headache. Her little girls really need her. I felt so bad for them doing face tie with her and crying.
Have a nice week-end and feel better. Sometimes honey will help when nothing else does.

Very frustrating to see a post just disappear, specially when you were in the right mood and had done a nice post.
Well, I think you covered it well in your "nutshell"summary.
Hmmm, now Pogo is acting difficult hey? The little guy should really keep up eating a bit, I knw you are worried about him. May be you have some minced meat in the freezer? You could make him a hamburger(without the spices of course), perhaps he will like that?
May be he is just feeling you are not well and that prevents him from eating.
I really hope you can fight your bug over the weekend and glad you consider going to the doctor if you don;t feel better by Monday!
Stay warm and cozy, sleep a lot, it will help.
Hugs

Oh Edna, I really hope that you start feeling better soon and not be like me with this thing hanging on. I should have gone to the dr. a while ago. I almost called an ambulance last night. I had some really bad feelings last night from the head ache that I have had. At the last minute I changed my mind and I am glad that I did not call an ambulance in the middle of the night but I have put this off way too long.
I never use to have a fear of hospitals but lately just the thought of going seems to terrify me.

Cisco seems to be doing really well on his diet. We are continuing our walks but during the thunderstorms we had to miss a couple of walks, but made up for them last night and this morning. I am proud to say that even in this short time I can see a difference in his shape. He doesn't look so round and he was able to jump up on my bed last night without having to make more than one attempt.
It seems that you have trouble with little Pogo eating while I have trouble with Cisco wanting to eat everything.

Girl I know how you felt with your disappearance of your blog post. It happened to me the other day. I was disturbed by it so badly and did not feel up to redoing it. I need to go over now and update it. Really not much to say in it right now.

Get to feeling better sweetie and will talk to you soon. Hugs, Beth

Grrrr....I hate it when that happens and just like you I can't recall what I'd written either.
