May Blossoms

May 2, 2022

Good morning.  We are now in the merry month of May.  How quickly time goes by.  Today will be cloudy with temps around sixty degrees.

Steve asks for the name of my new pink plant.  It called "Dipladenia."

Deanne came by Saturday and planted all my new plants into pots and planters.  I'll take photos as soon as they start to grow a bit.  Twiggy also got planted into a pot.  It's going to grow into a Hummingbird Mint, and hopefully draw lots of these beautiful birds to it.

Pretty soon it will be time to clear off the porch and get it ready for sitting out.  I can't wait.  I think everyone should have a screened in porch.

My crocheting is coming along slowly.  I've only been doing a couple rows every other day or so.  I just haven't been in the mood.  That will have to change soon.  I need these afghans finished in the next couple of months.

Today is Law & Order day on TV.  You know what I'll be watching.  I can't believe there were so many episodes of the program that I did not see before.  Or maybe I did see them and just forgot all of them.  Either way, I'm glad they are back on TV.

Now I'm going to make a cup of coffee and enjoy a bit of blog reading.  So, till Wednesday, Y'all stay safe and have a fantabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.

Nice to have the plants in pots and panters, it always looks better, isn;t it? It will be a happy sight having those ppants around when you sit on the porch.
That crocheting mood will come back, so for now a few rows every day or so will help to get it forward.
At the moment I am into the pillow covers, and that alpine stitch looks wonderful.
Today I will go to the hairdresser, and it is really needed!
Have a wonderful day, and fun with the Law and Order episodes.
Tke care,
Hugs
Kyra

It's a beautiful day here Edna... sun is out and that's all I requested today but the weather is nice too. Right now it is mid-50s. Later this week it'll get into the 60s and next week we get our first run of 70s. I am still waiting for my tulips to bloom so thank you for sharing pictures of your flowers.

Beautiful flower. Screened in porches are the best! I do have a cement patio and am waiting, like you, for the weather to be nice enogh to set up my chair out there. :)

Diplodenia is the basket that I kept in my bathtub all winter. I love it. Yours is so pretty. Mine was a Morher’s Day/birthday gift last May and I am happy that it is hanging out in the sunshine and thriving. Enjoy your evening dear friend. Hugs
