Happy Birthday Scott And Janet

March 29, 2018

Good morning.  Today is another awesome day here in New England.  It's sunny, and the temperature is climbing up to sixty degrees.  Woo Hoo!  Dare I think that Spring has finally kicked Old Man Winter in the butt?

Well, the insurance adjuster just left here.  He checked out my attic, the ceiling in the back room (some of the plaster swirls were knocked off the ceiling) and my privacy fence.  I gave him copies of the bills that I paid for the roof repair and the tree removal.  Now he will go back to his office to total everything up and put my claim through for processing.

Today is DIL Janet's birthday, and yesterday was her hubby Scott's birthday.  To both of you, I wish you an awesome day.  Happy Birthday to both of you.  I love you.

Janet came by last evening, but because she is taking today and tomorrow off from work, she won't be able to total my tax columns.  I'll see if maybe she can do it Monday.  (when she goes back to work).  I need to call for an appointment with my accountant so that I can get these taxes out of the way.

I dug into my photo archives for some interesting photos that I took five years ago today.  I was on my way to work on a rainy morning, and I came across a crow who was looking around for some tasty tidbits.  I pulled over to take some photos and watched while he found a super catch in one of the puddles.  (Ask anybody, I used to pull over to photograph most anything!)

Sometimes you find the best photo opportunities in the strangest places.  This year I'm hoping to get out more with my camera.  I miss the fun I used to have taking photos everywhere I went.

Today, I think I'm going to play a while on my laptop and make a few more quick pages.  I find it very relaxing, plus it's fun.  Later, I think I'm going to start my crocheting again.  My hands are needing the exercise.

Now I think it's time to wash up the dishes that are waiting for me in the kitchen sink.  So, till tomorrow, Y'all have an awesome day.

Hugs, Edna B.

Happy Birthday to Scott and Janet!!!

Hello, I am hoping that Old Man Winter is on his way out! That would be really awesome for everyone. I dare say that you made it thru the rest of March without another Nor'easter and I know everyone is happy about that. We are only 2 months and a day from being in Hurricane season again. I don't think that anyone can deal with what happened last year.

Cisco is better. Sitting beside me. He had his bone and brought his little piggy to play so we did that. Then he ran to his corner and when I got my coffee he moved closer to me. He says to tell Pogo hi and give him high fives and kisses for you.

I had a good visit with my dentist yesterday. He adjusted a few places on my dentures and they don't hurt as bad. I have 3 pretty bad sores but I am using my salt water and he gave me a rinse to use. It doesn't taste well, and I cannot have anything to drink 30 minutes after using it but it does help. I have used it before and still had some.

Matthew has an interview Monday with a railroad company. They want to send him to Pennsylvania for the first work tour. So he will be traveling again. I really do hope that he can get this job. It would mean the world to us both. Him especially. He doesn't like sitting around or doing lazy work as he calls it lol. He likes physical work.

I need to make some calls. Have an awesome day.... Hugs Beth and Cisco
