Here, Ducky Ducky

January 24, 2018

Good morning.  Tis another gray day here in New England.  Temps will only be in the low thirties, but then it is still winter.  Yesterday it rained all day so we have lots of puddles here.  Now if we only had some ducks, they'd be such happy little campers.

Yesterday I spent some time on my laptop, picking out and downloading some new scrap kits.  I got a super coupon from one of the designers and I was having a grand old time using it.  If you hurry, you might be able to take advantage of the sale at Tiny Turtle Designs.  For every dollar you spend, you  get a coupon for that same amount towards more kits.  Pretty good deal folks.

Once I finished downloading my new kits, I, of course, had to play with some of them.  Today's new quick page is the result of that playing.  I had fun with this, I hope you enjoy it.

Here is your download link:

You know, in a few weeks it will be Valentine's Day.  It's not too soon to start thinking of flowers and hearts and candy.  It sure beats cold, snow and rain!  And it gets even better.  Just a couple of weeks after that happy holiday, it will be time for Pogo and me to go on vacation.  Woo Hoo!

With a little luck, DIL Janet might be able to come by later today after work.  Aside from the fact that we had no heat here, Janet has also been sick with a really nasty bug.  Hopefully, by now she is over it.  I have been missing her visits.

Meanwhile, daughter Deanne is still hobbling around with a brace while her sprained ankle heals, and Jazzy is sick abed with a nasty bug.  When the bad times come, they dump all over you.  This has been a wicked winter for sicknesses.  At least I've had all my shots so if I do get sick, it shouldn't last too long.  I'm knocking on wood and keeping my fingers and toes crossed.

Pogo's appetite hasn't been very good lately so last night I cooked him some hamburger.  That did it!  He had a hearty supper and a bit more of it for breakfast this morning.  Right now, he's stretched out on his blankets right here beside me.  There are very soft snore sounds coming my way.  They sound super happy to my ears.

Now it's time to do a bit of blog reading, then I'm going to play on my laptop for a while.  So, till tomorrow, Y'all have a fantabulous day.

Hugs, Edna B.

Edna,
Thank you so much for the cute QP. I am going to use it next I think. You have a couple more that I want to use for my sisters planner but it will have to wait a little longer. I have a lot to do today, or maybe I will do the major things and just play!

I will talk to you soon... Love to Pogo. I sure miss that little guy. Cisco always sends woofs and licks from us both... Have a great day, Beth xx

Edna, thank you for the cute QP! You are so generous. Oh that Pogo, has his own personal chef, he is one blessed canine cutie!
My late brother-in-laws ex wife had a dog with all sorts of issues, mental and stomach. I think the meds she took hurt her tummy. Lois cooked her three meals a day. She would make a huge batch of hamburger and add some veggies and that Anna would eat like a Queen. Many kind hearts caring for rescue sweethearts. The vet told Jeremy in order to clean STella's teeth they would have to sedate her. She is so afraid of everyone and they don't want her to feel any worse so they made an appointment to clean her teeth. They told him to take her on more walks. She is a chubby girl! When they come over, she still hops on my bed and has to snuggle. We have become great friends through the years. Plus she follows Brittany wherever she goes and lays underneath that empty crib waiting for the day Brody will come and join them! Such a special girl.
Well the kids were at a doctor appointment for Jacey and I kept Harrison. He just crawled up on the bed and said night night. He is such a character. He is softly snoring beside me as I write.
I hope you and Pogo stay warm and do not get sick! That crude is hitting everyone. I hope your phamily heals quickly.
Take care my friend
